Yeah know that stuff is serious when even the strict and serious bishop tell you indirectly that running away from your responsibilities is no shame

I agree this is the best episode so far. As I loved how the dialogue between Stagnate and Will went. With Stagnate saying sorry for how his echo did act childish last time. Then also how he wish for great heroes not to be drag down by others into an early death. And even how he did tell the dwarf what that happened in the fight between his people and the dragon. Thus brining close to him. I also liked how we got confirmation that the dwarf is not only of noble blood. But is the grandson of the last king, which I theorized about two weeks ago

About additional Blessings that Gracefeel could give... She's in a difficult situation. In this setting, the amount of power a God can use within a world depends on how much power said God gains from faith and worship within that world. Gracefeel isn't really being worshipped much in this world anymore due to the main places of worship for her being destroyed by the demons 200 years prior. As a result, Gracefeel isn't actually able to give all that much boost to Will. She can to some extent, but if she tries to do more, she will limit how much she can do for quite while after. Edit: So in short, in the dream sequence, Gracefeel didn't give Will a new boost. She told him that when the need will occur, that she is going to support him and boost him the most she can even though it will reduce her overall power.

Also, a mistranslation when Menel told Will that calculating pros and cons is something Will never does. That’s not what he actually said. Menel instead said that even though Will always calculates pros and cons, gains and losses, if a battle is winnable or not, that even though he always thinks about those things, in the end, Will never follows the result of the calculations. Will simply does what he thinks HAS to be done. The meaning is similar, but the nuances are different.

The content of the letter from the bishop to Will was skipped in the anime adaptation, so here it is: Dear Lord William, This is a summary of our findings during the investigation regarding Calamity’s Sickle. This name appears in a variety of archived documents, so I can say with certainty that it is a true ancient dragon. Quote: “No one can resist against such might. ‘Tis a Great Disaster. Encave yourself, and evade at all costs.” Quote: “Its claws can tear iron and heroes’ swords break upon touching its scales.” Quote: “Its nature is in its scorching breath that consist of pure miasma and madness.” The strange Chimera and Wyvern you ran into two years ago had the traits mentioned above. You probably already know this, but everything that has happened over the past two years is the work of demons. Perhaps, the strange miasma like aura that beasts give off comes from this dragon. They used the breath of the sleeping dragon as a catalyst to tame and strengthen beasts… or something of the sort. How wicked. Ultimately, we can’t do much about it. We’re dealing not only with a dragon from the Age of Gods, but also with the army of demons that took its side. There’s no change of winning for someone inexperienced like you. - There’s no shame in running away.
