Heya! I wanted to give an update on where we're at and give some hints as to when we'll likely drop the next update for Life in Woodchester.

For Molly's we wanted something similar to Lily's playfulness and yet still seductive and loving. So she has one foot over and one foot pulling you close 馃挀.


For Cass, we tried a sort of spread eagle in the air (very dramatic) but it didnt end up translating that well. I think it might be great for a seperate scene at some point though.
We settled on something much better, wrapped tightly against MC while recording on her phone. Who knows what she'll do with that recording...
As voted on by yall, we've got Seraphina, our tallest goth mommy yet. We did some brief feedback in the discord as to what her direction should be, but ultimately I sort of had a story already planned for her.
While the business and teacher looks are great, I almost already have roles for them in the future.
Janice's boss will be a sort of ultra thick, business first, baddie, likely sporting similar clothing
The Teacher is great, but didnt entirely fit the antique/goth I was orginally shooting for.
However, it was also clear the fancy goth style was a bit TOO much of a dedication to an existing video game character.

I realized it was important to focus on the story for the character.
The vision is to have her as a retired arosticrat, massive old mansion left behind by her former husband. She's bored; Bored to the point that she's toying with men in Woodchester. She already has one victim who you meet, is her steward. There's even been whispers of a cult. This is one mysterious dangerous woman!

Above are the variations, completely removing the confusing front drape, and leaning even more into the antique/goth/widow feel. Personally I feel like A captures that feeling (removable hat also), and perhaps the neck wear of B, but i'd love to hear your opinions!
This is super exciting, because for a while we've had all dialogue external, which meant that theoretically we could localize the game in multiple languages but it was never that feasible. Now its becoming a reality, I just have to finish finding any hard coded strings with regards to UI, Options, Menu-ing, and mark them up for translating. Luckily, we only have to do this part once.
What's so great about this is being able to really get the game in anyones hands in the world is great for exposure, which in turn is great for getting new support, which is great for the long term viability of Life in Woodchester and it's growth! 馃挋

Chloe enjoyers rejoyce, we've got even more art in the pipeline that helps enhance the storyline, and even a bit more lewd stuff. When her story is finished, she'll likely have as much artwork as the original 3 (Tara, Lily, Janice) and I think even more than Cass & Molly.

As far as timelines go, I'm looking at November for Chloe Part 1/2, and Translations available. Then either Dec or Jan for Chloe Part 2/2.
