Chapter 1: Ten-Tail Jinchuriki

Naruto Verse

Dimension: ???

"Kaguya, you bitch," Naruto roared in rage as he watched his friend and rival turn to ash. He was hit by the rabbit goddess's attack when they were so close to sealing her back, but she had opened a portal behind the Uchiha and stabbed him with all-killing ash bone. "I am going to kill you."

"Oh, poor Naruto. Are you upset that we took your friend's life? Don't fret; you'll be with him before long," Black Zetsu sneered, grinning from his spot within Kaguya's sleeve.

Kaguya exclaimed in a frenzied tone, "Asura, your chakra is mine!" Her gaze was fixed in a way that suggested she was not looking at Naruto, but rather at her son, the one who had betrayed her and sealed her away. "I will rectify my error and claim all the chakra for myself."

"Forget you, I won't let you come out on top!" Naruto shouted in frustration, still reeling from Sasuke's absence. He knew he had to overcome Kaguya to protect everyone. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

"Using that same old tactic again? Haven't you figured it out yet? This won't hinder us," Black Zetsu said with a smug assurance that his mother would prevail. "Let's take care of this kid and return before the chakra fruit is created."

Naruto realized that his current situation was far from ideal; with Sasuke absent, he lacked the ability to seal Kaguya. Defeating her felt like an insurmountable challenge, but he was determined not to back down.

Deep inside the seal within Naruto, Kurama had a thoughtful look on his face. He had a plan, but it would be risky and it meant his end, or maybe a new beginning.

"Naruto," Kurama called to his partner in a calm, deep voice, but Naruto was too focused on the battle to hear him, so the tailed beast pulled his host into his mind to talk.

Mindscape

"Kurama, what are you doing?" Naruto yelled in exasperation. "I need to get back out there and battle Kaguya, or everyone will be doomed!"

"Naruto, please stop talking and pay attention," Kurama said in a calm tone as he lowered his head to meet his host's gaze. He patiently waited for Naruto to settle down.

"Kurama, why did you bring me to this place?" Naruto inquired, aware that the tailed beast wouldn't summon him unless it was significant.

"Given the current situation, Naruto, it's impossible for us to defeat Kaguya," Kurama said frankly, causing Naruto to look surprised. "I'm not suggesting we surrender, but if you want to increase our odds of winning, I might have a strategy that could help---though it comes with a risk to our lives."

Kurama spoke without allowing Naruto to interject, fully aware that the blonde would likely want to argue that he could triumph by saving his loved ones. However, he understood that the harsh truth was that Kaguya was simply too strong for them in their current state.

"What must we do to achieve victory, partner?" Naruto said, his eyes filled with resolve. He was willing to sacrifice himself if it meant saving everyone. "I'm prepared."

Kurama gazed at Naruto with a serious expression and replied, "I plan to combine with the tailed beast chakra inside you, and I'm hoping that will enhance my strength enough for us to defeat Kaguya." The nine-tailed fox's words caused Naruto's eyes to widen in surprise.

"That's a great idea, but why haven't you done that before?" Naruto asked. The real question was why didn't Kurama do this before Sasuke died. If they had that power, then they would have stopped Kaguya before she could do any damage.

Kurama sighed, "I chose not to pursue this method for greater power due to its significant risks, and unlike you, Naruto, I lack the chakra from the other tailed beasts." He realized he needed to provide Naruto with more information, but time was not on their side. "Just understand that if we go through with this, there's a chance we could both perish---you from channeling the full strength of a ten-tailed beast, and me because my core could rupture from attempting to absorb my siblings' power. However, if we manage to pull it off, we would stand on equal footing with Kaguya."

Naruto finally grasped Kurama's reluctance to tap into this power; it could ultimately lead to their demise. However, what other options were left? As painful as it was for him to acknowledge, defeating Kaguya was beyond his capabilities---she was simply too powerful. Even now, he could vividly recall the memories of his clones being wiped out.

"Let's go for it, Kurama," Naruto said, extending his fist towards the tailed beast. Kurama mirrored his gesture, and they fist bumped, exchanging chakra. However, this time, it was Naruto who supplied chakra to Kurama, reversing their usual dynamic. "We'll make it through this and defeat her partner."

"That's correct, Naruto," Kurama said with a sorrowful expression. He understood that he needed to explain to Naruto that by taking this action, he would cease to exist---not in terms of his physical form, which would remain as the main vessel for the power, but rather his memories and personality would be consumed by the new Ten-Tails. Kurama realized that he would be lost forever. "Farewell, my friend."

Kurama whispered this so Naruto wouldn't catch it, but what happened next was truly remarkable. Kurama began to radiate a spectrum of rainbow-colored energy, and then the Uzumaki was abruptly propelled out of his mental landscape.

Outside Mindscape

"What the heck," Naruto shouted as he emerged from the mindscape, immediately overwhelmed by intense agony that felt like his insides were ablaze. "Is this what Kurama meant when he said I could die from this? He wasn't joking at all."

Naruto unleashed a piercing scream that caught the attention of Kaguya and Black Zetsu. They were in the midst of obliterating the remaining clones of Naruto, which had dwindled from thousands to fewer than a hundred. They watched in perplexity, frowning at the scene before them.

"What is that boy up to?" Black Zetsu asked, observing Naruto scream in agony as blood streamed from his eyes, mouth, and ears.

For a fleeting moment, Kaguya's expression reflected a mother's worry for her injured child, but it quickly vanished. The rabbit goddess chose to activate her Byakugan to assess Naruto's situation, and her complexion grew pale.

"What did he do?" Kaguya whispered in shock. What she saw was Naruto's seal glowing white as a white rainbow-colored chakra radiated all around him, and it was getting stronger. "I have to stop him."

"What is he up to, Mother?" Zetsu questioned, bewildered, though he could detect the fear in Kaguya's voice.

Kaguya didn't respond to him but attempted to strike the original down. However, before she could make her move, the remaining clones launched an assault on her. One clone secured the original's safety while the others engaged the rabbit goddess to buy time.

"We're not going to let you do things your way," yelled one of the Naruto clones, as the other clone charged forward, resolute in distracting the opponent to give the original a chance to finish his mission.

For the first time, Kaguya displayed an emotion beyond her usual sadness and emotionless scowl. Fueled by a fierce determination, she lunged at the clones with a menacing intent to kill. In response, the clones launched themselves at her, ready to counter with chakra-infused fists and various forms of Rasengan.

The clone, along with the original, noticed that Naruto was becoming overwhelmed by an excess of Chakra, which could potentially lead to an explosion. The original had unintentionally activated sage mode to enhance his body's resilience against this newfound power, but the effect was minimal.

"What am I supposed to do now?" the clone holding Naruto exclaimed, wishing that Sakura or Kakashi were present. Sakura could potentially assist the original, while Kakashi might have a strategy to get them out of this situation. "Should I look for a place to conceal him and assist the other clones?"

The clone swiftly dismissed the notion of concealing the original due to the strong chakra he was emitting, which would lead to his discovery in an instant. Even if he assisted the other clone, the situation wouldn't improve one bit.

"Damn it," the clone shouted as it witnessed Kaguya eliminate the remaining clones and now turn her attention to him. "Whatever you're doing, you need to wrap it up quickly."

The clone generated chakra arms to carry the original on his back, allowing his hands to be free and ready for the fight that would decide the future of his world.

Mindscape

"Am I dead?" Naruto wondered aloud as he drifted in a blank white space. The last thing he recalled was being engulfed in intense pain before the comforting embrace of unconsciousness overtook him. "Crap, did I blow up?"

"You're still alive, kid," a low, menacing voice that made Kurama sound like a tiny girl hissed, "but that could change quickly if you don't get it together."

Naruto compelled his body to pivot toward the voice, and to his astonishment, he saw a shapeless entity composed of eyes and chakra, sensing the presence of the tailed beasts' chakra within it.

"Who the hell are you and where the hell is Kurama?" Naruto spat out, his shock quickly turning into rage as he searched frantically for his friend.

"Stop pretending, Naruto. You're aware of what happened to Kurama; you just refuse to confront the reality," the multitude of eyes said matter-of-factly, observing Naruto as his feelings shifted from rage to denial, and ultimately to acceptance and sorrow.

The mass of eyes watched as Naruto started to break down, with tears falling from his eyes, revealing his true feelings.

"Kurama is really gone, isn't he?" Naruto murmured, his heart heavy with despair. It was clear to him that something was terribly wrong when the tailed beast revealed his intentions. "Kurama gave up everything, even his own life, just so I could gain the strength to confront Kaguya." The weight of loss hung in the air, a painful reminder of the sacrifice made for a glimmer of hope.

The sinister entity shot back without a hint of compassion, "He was fully aware that creating me meant sacrificing his own mind and strength!"

"Damn it all! First Sasuke, and now Kurama," Naruto cried out, his voice trembling with a deep sense of loss and despair. "Why did they have to leave me? If only I had been stronger, maybe I could have saved them. Why do I feel so helpless?"

"Yeah, that's right, you're pathetic!" the swarm of eyes sneered as it closed in on Naruto. "But if we join forces, we can crush Kaguya for good! So enough with the whining---are you finally ready to get your act together and do what needs to be done?"

Naruto shut his eyes for a moment, then opened them again, a fierce determination in his gaze. His blue eyes appeared somewhat harsher, as if a piece of his innocence had been lost alongside his two friends. However, he was unfazed; his only concern was to defeat Kaguya and save everyone else.

"What's your name?" Naruto asked, gazing into the red, glowing eyes of the new Ten Tails. "I'd prefer not to just refer to you as Ten Tails."

"I do not have one, but I think I would like to be called Ryu for now," the now-named Ryu said with some excitement slipping through his voice. "Now, are you ready to rise up from the ashes of the old Naruto Uzumaki and become who you were always meant to be?"

Naruto paused for a brief moment, reflecting on his journey from a lonely child to a genin aspiring to become Hokage. He realized that he had never really established a personal goal; he had always lived for others and sought their recognition. But now, he questioned what he truly desired. As he glanced at Ryu, captivated by his mesmerizing red eyes, an idea struck him. He looked up to both the Third and Fourth Hokage, the latter of whom was his father, admiring their strength. He yearned to be powerful, so powerful that he would stand out as the strongest among the strongest.

It was as if Ryu could sense Naruto's thoughts, radiating warmth as their forms connected and fused, resulting in a powerful surge of chakra.

Outside Mindscape

The Naruto clone found himself in a tough spot; he had created his own shadow clones and was using the substitution technique to evade Kaguya's strikes, but his chakra was draining rapidly.

"Just surrender already; your destiny is determined," Black Zetsu remarked with a broad grin on his shapeless visage. "The instant mother made her return, that was when your defeat was guaranteed."

"I refuse to surrender," the clone replied boldly, his gaze brimming with resolve. He was certain that the original would awaken and change everything; he just needed to stall for a bit longer. An idea struck him, and he thought, "Will it succeed? There's only one way to find out."

Kaguya unleashed a torrential assault of deadly ash bones, prompting the clone to curse as he utilized his truth-seeking orb to morph into a rod. He swiftly defended against the incoming strikes aimed at the original, but unfortunately, he was still struck in the left shoulder.

Cursing under his breath, the clone felt the pain surge through him. He realized he had only one opportunity to slow Kaguya down, who was approaching him at an incredible speed. "Reverse Harem no Jutsu, version two!"

Kaguya, who had already been deceived by this tactic, initially overlooked it until she witnessed the true form of the blonde boy, which caused her to freeze for multiple reasons. Before her stood her sons, both unclothed and in an embrace.

The rabbit goddess experienced a whirlwind of emotions. Initially, she was taken aback by the sight of her sons in such a state. This was quickly followed by a deep sadness, as she reflected on whether things might have turned out differently had she been more disciplined with them or had listened to their concerns. Soon after, her feelings transformed into fury; she couldn't believe the boy would bring up the painful memories of her sons and her greatest failure.

"I will ensure you pay dearly for this," the rabbit goddess snarled in anger, her Byakugan and third eyes radiating with intense fury. "You will perish."

Kaguya's assault was swift and merciless, culminating in a moment where a clone was pierced through the hand. Despite the dire situation, the clone managed to flash a confident smirk at the goddess and uttered its final words.

"I hope you enjoy the performance, you crazy bitch. I'll meet you in hell before long," the clones exclaimed before vanishing. It was only then that Kaguya and Black Zetsu realized the original was absent from that clone.

"Byakugan!" Kaguya shouted as she noticed another clone fleeing with the original. It didn't possess much chakra, just enough to sustain it for a few minutes.

"Ugh, you just won't give up, will you?" Black Zetsu remarked, clearly irritated. Kaguya shared his frustration and quickly opened a portal, stepping out right in front of the fleeing clone.

"This stops here," the Otsutsuki declared as he launched a bone at the clone. Realizing it was too feeble to evade the attack, the clone accepted its fate and offered an apology to the original for failing to safeguard him before disappearing in a puff of smoke.

"At last, take his chakra, mother," Black Zetsu exclaimed, eagerly observing as Kaguya reached out towards the original Naruto. However, just before her hand made contact, she was suddenly knocked back by an unexpected surge of energy. "What just happened?"

"My clones put in a lot of effort," Naruto's voice emerged from the cloud of dust created by the explosion. "I suppose it's my turn now, isn't it, Ryu?"

"You really won't back down, will you Naruto Uzumaki?" Black Zetsu shouted in anger and exasperation as he observed the new version of Naruto approaching.

Kaguya observed the Ninja with concern; he seemed transformed, embodying the essence of a genuine Otsutsuki, which troubled her deeply. Naruto appeared older, sporting longer hair and lacking his usual whisker marks. He had also developed a more muscular physique, but what startled her most was the intensity of his chakra---it was incredibly potent.

"Let's bring this to a close," Naruto proclaimed, his once cheerful and hopeful tone now replaced by the resolve of a true shinobi---a harbinger of death.

Fast Forward

Kaguya gazed upwards at the sky, feeling a sense of defeat. Black Zetsu had already been vanquished due to Asura's transmigration, the tide of the battle shifted dramatically when Naruto awaken, his powers were extraordinary even for Otsutsuki.

Kaguya pondered aloud, "Could this be the result of combining the strength of the Divine Tree with a human? The being within that boy is certainly not the Ten Tails I'm familiar with."

Kaguya's thoughts shifted as Naruto tapped into the formidable force within him, revealing an astonishing sight. The creature that emerged was colossal, resembling a fusion of reptiles and possibly a dragon, adorned with numerous eyes on its head.

Kaguya reflected, "The creature seemed to grow more formidable as the fight progressed," Eventually, Naruto managed to harness that power and reverted back to his human shape, but he emerged significantly more powerful. "I've been defeated, and now I'm facing my end."

Kaguya gazed at Naruto as he held her Rinne Sharingan in his palm. He had calmly extracted it from her head after defeating her and was now using it to dismantle the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

"I've failed once more," Kaguya admitted, resigning herself to her situation. She had considered putting a karma seal on Naruto, but ultimately chose not to for two reasons: it might not be effective because of the beast within Naruto, and she was growing weary of the constant battles and the fear that her clan would come after her for her betrayal. Everything she had done up until now had been driven by those fears, but now all she desired was peace.

As Naruto observed Kaguya's eyes close while she began to dissolve into smoke, the tailed beasts that had been within her were set free and now encircled Naruto, regarding him with a mix of confusion and wariness. They sensed that something was amiss with him, and their proximity to Naruto instilled a sense of fear within them.

"Alright everyone, let's head home," Naruto declared, confident that now that Kaguya was permanently defeated, the Sage of Six Paths would soon bring them back to their own dimension.
