Chapter 1: Let's Get Digital

"Where on earth am I?" yelled a blonde-haired boy with three whiskers on his cheek, glancing around the strange forest he had landed in after a rainbow, of all things, transported him here.

The aspiring blonde ninja jumped up the highest tree he could find, which provided a view over the entire forest. As he scanned his surroundings, everything appeared unfamiliar to him.

"Where the heck did that stupid rainbow take me?" the blonde shouted in exasperation and a hint of fear, having never ventured beyond his village before. "What should I do? Naruto, come on, think!"

The twelve-year-old blonde ninja recently completed his ninja exam just a week prior, achieving this by mastering the shadow clone jutsu. This was in the wake of the betrayal by Mizuki, who manipulated him into stealing the forbidden scroll of secrets in a bid to frame him and evade responsibility for his actions.

Fortunately, Iruka came to his aid, and in exchange, Uzumaki utilized the shadow clone jutsu he had just mastered to help take down the traitor. The academy instructor promoted him right then and there, meaning he would officially become a genin.

As the Uzumaki surveyed his surroundings, he realized he preferred taking action over pondering. With a familiar hand sign, he crossed his fingers, and soon several clones of the blonde appeared in a flurry of smoke, each having received their orders through a mental command: to search the forest and disperse upon discovering anything.

In a burst of speed the clones took off in all directions looking for a clue on where they were, the original stayed behind mostly hoping the rainbow came back and take him home as unlikely as that is.

"How did everything come to this?" Naruto pondered, his shoulders drooping as he reflected on the events that brought him to this moment.

Village Hidden In The Leaves

Naruto wore a mischievous grin as he stood in the Uchiha clan compound, where his mission was to find Sasuke Uchiha, the last remaining member of the Uchiha clan in Konoha.

"You'll get what's coming to you, you jerk," Naruto murmured from his concealed spot. He had snuck into Sasuke's house to play a prank on his rival following an incident involving Sakura.

The Last Uchiha had been feeling quite down lately, likely due to the anniversary of his clan's massacre. In an attempt to lift Sasuke's spirits, Sakura tried to comfort him, but her efforts were met with an insult and a harsh glare, leaving the pink-haired girl in tears.

Naruto witnessed everything and felt a surge of anger towards the last Uchiha. He considered attacking the jerk but realized it would only lead to more trouble for himself. Instead, he vowed to seek revenge for his crush.

Naruto observed Sakura as she apologized to Sasuke and exited the classroom, tears streaming down her cheeks. He was taken aback when Ino, one of Sasuke's biggest admirers, shot a furious look at the last Uchiha but chose to remain silent before following her friend out.

Now, he found himself concealed in the ceiling of the final Uchiha residence, observing as the boy poured the ketchup he had altered, a broad, sinister smile stretching across his face that resembled the fox he carried within him.

"Hmm," Sasuke let out a frustrated grunt as he reflected on his day. His fangirls had been as bothersome as always, but on the bright side, he had successfully put Sakura in her place. A smile tugged at his lips as he recalled her tear-streaked expression.

Sasuke decided to have his leftover egg fried rice for dinner. After adding some ketchup to it, he began to eat. Almost immediately, he felt an intense burning in his mouth, which quickly spread to his throat and then to his stomach. Realizing he needed to act fast, he jumped up, clutching his backside, and rushed to the bathroom.

Naruto tumbled down from the ceiling, unable to contain his laughter when he spotted Sasuke dashing to the bathroom with his hands on his rear. Sasuke's pants had a brown mark, revealing that he had an accident.

"Oh Kami, why is this happening to me?" Sasuke shouted in agony and bewilderment, and then Naruto heard him groaning loudly as he rushed to the bathroom, exclaiming, "Why is there so much shit?"

Naruto chuckled when he heard Sasuke swear and then yell about not being able to control his bowels, especially after consuming the hot sauce that the Uzumaki knew would set his mouth, throat, and stomach on fire.

The Uzumaki took a whiff of the air, his expression twisting in revulsion. He swiftly covered his nose and fought the urge to vomit. Afterward, Naruto departed, feeling that he had successfully avenged Sakura.

Throughout the night, Sasuke was overwhelmed by agony and disorientation while seated on the toilet. He felt as though his body was relentlessly purging itself, experiencing continuous bouts of diarrhea and vomiting until he eventually lost consciousness.

Kakashi wouldn't discover the last Uchiha unconscious on his bathroom floor, surrounded by his own filth, until the following morning, which left the Jounin grimacing at the overpowering stench.

The copy ninja sprang into action, despite feeling repulsed by the sight in front of him. Sensing that Sasuke was on the brink of death, he created a shadow clone to transport the last Uchiha to the hospital.

The clone grimaced while hauling the foul-smelling Uchiha, leaping onto the hospital rooftop. As Sasuke's waste dropped onto the villagers below, chaos ensued. That day, they discovered that the last Uchiha didn’t produce gold but rather the same unpleasant waste as anyone else.

At the same time, Naruto was enjoying a pleasant morning. He had risen early and chosen to train. During his workout, he noticed a rainbow suddenly appear nearby. Curious, he moved closer, and the moment he touched it, he was pulled into it.

If Naruto realized the turmoil he was creating with his prank on the last Uchiha and his own vanishing act, he would understand that the village and the Hokage were in a frenzy, believing that someone had poisoned Sasuke and abducted Naruto.

The elderly Hokage, intent on rescuing his grandson in all but blood, set out to track down his captors. He recalled Jiraiya and compelled Tsunade to return to the village, making it clear that refusal would lead to dire consequences.

United, they launched a battle against all those they believed to be at fault, including Danzo and his associates. After uncovering his numerous offenses, he was apprehended and executed. However, without Naruto, their attention then shifted toward the Hidden Cloud Village.

This ignited a conflict that ultimately led to the collapse of the ninja system, paving the way for the emergence of the technological era.

Flashback Scene End

Naruto smiled at the thought of his actions towards Sasuke, oblivious to the fact that his home and everything he held dear had been lost because of it.

The Uzumaki's smile faded when he sensed one of his clones dissipate, and as the memories flooded back to him, he realized that during his training, he had inadvertently learned that shadow clones transmitted their experiences back to the original.

In moments like this, when he needed to collect information, it proved to be beneficial. As he examined the memories of his clones, Naruto pondered about the nature of those creatures.

His clone had witnessed a massive creature assault a pack of smaller monsters. The Uzumaki felt the urge to avoid the scene, but that wouldn't be true to his character. The smaller beings appeared frightened in the clone's recollections, and he was determined to rescue them at all costs.

Naruto sped to where he knew that monster was, when he was close he could see three on fire and the roared of a dragon looking creature as it chase some small creatures that looked like bodiless head or slimes with faces.

One stood out, it look kind of like a cat's head with dark fur except around it's mouth which had white fur, he had turn to the much bigger monster and was fighting back against it while the other small creatures fled.

"Stay the heck away from us, you nasty bully!" the little cat head monster shouted at the dragon-like creature, his tiny face twisted in fierce defiance. "I won't let you hurt my pals!"

Naruto admired the bravery of the tiny creature, knowing it was at a severe disadvantage and likely to become the giant dragon's next meal if he didn't intervene. It was truly commendable to face inevitable defeat and death without showing any fear.

"I really have a soft spot for that adorable little kitty!" Naruto exclaimed with a big grin, his heart set on rescuing the courageous little furball no matter the challenge. "Alright, let's get this party started with some Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Just as Naruto was getting ready to rescue the tiny creature, it emitted an adorable, defiant roar and shouted, "Chisana Tetsu Tsubu." In response, glowing metal pellets burst from its mouth, targeting the enemy's face.

"How could you possibly have the audacity to assault me, Dodomon?" the enormous dragon roared at the smaller Digimon. Naruto stood in astonishment, realizing he hadn't expected the dragon to speak; then again, the little creature he had learned was called Dodomon could communicate as well.

"You came at me and my friend without any warning, you big bully," Dodomon shot back, glaring at the larger foe. "But don’t assume for a second that I'll back down from you, Airdramon."

"You little nuisances are to blame for this. You disturbed my rest by approaching my nest, so it's only fair that I have you all for a snack as reparation," Airdramon declared, seemingly unbothered by the fact that he was admitting his desire to eat the smaller Digimon just for waking him up.

Dodomon didn't respond verbally; instead, he launched an attack targeting Airdramon's eyes. He successfully struck them with his pellet attack, causing the dragon-like Digimon to roar in agony. However, before Dodomon could take a moment to celebrate, Airdramon retaliated with its powerful tail, sending the smaller Digimon flying through the air.

Dodomon let out a cry of agony as he was on the verge of colliding with a tree. However, Naruto leaped into action and caught him in midair. To the astonishment of both Digimon, they had not anticipated encountering another human in the Digiworld aside from the Digidestined.

"Are you alright, little buddy?" Naruto inquired, holding the Digimon close. While his clones kept Airdramon occupied, he planned to seize the moment to make his getaway, but Dodomon suddenly jumped out of his embrace.

"Appreciate the help, human, but I'm Dodomon," the little Digimon declared with a sense of pride. "You really need to leave; this isn't your fight."

Naruto noticed that Dodomon wasn’t going to back down or flee from the much larger Digimon. The small creature reminded him of himself—always taking on more than he could handle, yet things seemed to work out in the end.

"My name isn't 'human'; I am Naruto Uzumaki," Naruto said, extending his hand towards Dodomon. "Let’s join forces to take down this foe, Dodomon."

The tiny Digimon was taken aback that the human was eager to assist him in battling Airdramon once more. It seemed like a futile effort, yet he was ready to fight for his friends, even though the human stood to gain nothing from it.

"Why do you want to assist me, Naruto?" Dodomon inquired, gazing intently into Naruto's eyes to gauge his sincerity. "You could face danger or even lose your life here."

"You might get injured or even lose your life too, Dodomon, but you're still determined to fight," Naruto said with a smile, impressed by the little guy's bravery. "I can't just walk away as if this doesn't concern me, even if it technically doesn't. I refuse to let either of us die. We're going to take down Airdramon."

Dodomon gazed at Naruto with intense focus as he spoke, recognizing a shared determination between them. They both possessed an unwavering resolve to stand their ground against anyone, especially when it comes to safeguarding what they cherish most.

"Do as you wish, just don't get in my way," Dodomon stated as he saw Airdramon destroy the last clone keeping him distracted. "I hope you have more tricks than just clones because that didn't seem to do anything but piss him off."

"I have plenty of tricks up my sleeves," Naruto replied as he remembered the second jutsu he learned from the forbidden scroll, "just get ready to attack when the time comes."

Dodomon was on the verge of inquiring about what the signal would entail when Airdramon launched an attack, forcing both the Digimon and the human to dodge out of the way to avoid being crushed.

"Shadow Clone Technique!" Naruto yelled as additional clones materialized around Airdramon. To his frustration, the Digimon flapped its wings, generating blades of wind that obliterated several clones. Fortunately, the original Naruto and Dodomon remained unscathed.

Dodomon had jumped onto Naruto's shoulder, prepared for the upcoming battle. The Uzumaki discussed a strategy with the Digimon to take down their opponent. His plan was straightforward: to blind Airdramon first, making it easier to deal with.

"Let's do this!" Naruto shouted as he raced towards Airdramon, who was hovering above the trees and watching them. However, a few jumped at the dragon Digimon, momentarily distracting him. That brief opening was all Naruto required to leap from the tree onto Airdramon's back.

"Get away from me, you pests!" Airdramon bellowed, but Naruto stood his ground with Dodomon perched on his shoulder. The draining Digimon began to thrash wildly until he finally chose to dislodge them by rubbing against the trees, shouting, " perish, you bugs!"

This was the chance that Naruto and his new small companion had been waiting for before Airdramon slammed into the trees and the ground. Naruto leaped off, landing securely in the outstretched arms of his clones.

Airdramon noticed the burden on his back had disappeared, so he lifted his head to find Naruto and Dodomon glaring at him. The dragon Digimon returned their glare and, in a fit of anger, lunged forward with his mouth open, intending to swallow the two pests whole which he did. However, he quickly regretted his decision as an explosion erupted within him.

BOOM BOOM

The enormous Digimon fell to the ground, hurt but mostly in disbelief. To his surprise and dread, he spotted Naruto and Dodomon right in front of him while he lay there, trying to recuperate, thinking they were gone for good.

Naruto and Dodomon launched a fierce assault on Airdramon, with Dodomon targeting its left eye using his Chisana Tetsu Tsubu attack, hurling a metal ball at the downed Digimon. Simultaneously, Naruto unleashed a flurry of kunais aimed at Airdramon's right eye.

Airdramon let out another roar of agony, but this time he was unable to see or speak due to the damage to his throat from the earlier explosion. Confused about the situation, he couldn't comprehend how the two were still alive when he was certain he had devoured them.

Naruto was feeling proud of himself after taking the forbidden scroll, having been deceived by Mizuki. Not only did he master the shadow clone technique, but he also learned the exploding clone technique. He utilized these skills earlier by transforming one of his clones to resemble Dodomon.

"Your strategy was successful, Naruto!" Dodomon exclaimed with enthusiasm. He had believed it might work, but now they had stripped Airdramon of his ability to use his breath attack, and without his sight, he couldn't target them for his other attacks.

In his rage, Airdramon began to strike wildly at everything around him with his tail, claws, fangs, and wind blasts, showing no concern for the harm he was inflicting on himself as long as he could eliminate those nuisances.

Naruto was taken by surprise when Airdramon suddenly launched an attack. A wind blade came hurtling toward him and Dodomon, and without thinking, he turned around and shielded his new friend with his own body, leaving the Digimon astonished.

The blow propelled Naruto into a tree, leaving a deep gash on his back. His grip on Dodomon weakened, causing the small Digimon to leap from his hands and gaze up at the human who had shielded him from the assault.

"Why did you do that?" Dodomon questioned, his eyes wide with shock as he observed Naruto lying on his stomach, blood seeping from the wound on his back where he had taken the hit. "Why did you defend me? We barely know each other. What made you risk yourself for someone you just met?"

"My body acted on its own, but I'd like to believe we're friends," Naruto said, feeling the pain, but oddly enough, it began to fade. Unbeknownst to him, the nine tails was healing him, furious that the foolish blonde was putting their lives at risk.

Dodomon glanced at Naruto and then at Airdramon, feeling as though he was in a dream. Just moments ago, he was a young Digimon enjoying time with his friends, but now he found himself in a bizarre situation where a bully like Airdramon had attacked them. To his surprise, here he was with a human who was risking his own life to defend him.

"You're quite an odd person," Dodomon commented, then began to laugh. Naruto joined in, feeling a sense of camaraderie with the little Digimon. After all, he found himself in a strange situation to be taken to an unknown place and battling a massive creature to rescue a smaller one.

The two were taken by surprise when a light illuminated the space between them, revealing a device that was white and blue. As soon as it made contact with Naruto, Dodomon experienced a rush of energy and instinctively recognized that the power originated from the Uzumaki, signifying that they were now partners.

"Dodomon digivolved into Dorimon," Naruto said as he got to his feet, feeling sore but otherwise okay. He glanced at Airdramon wreaking havoc in the forest, noticing that his clones were diverting the dragon Digimon's attention away from them, which explained why they weren't under attack. As he observed Dodomon's transformation, the light surrounding it intensified rather than fading. "Dorimon digivolved into Dorumon."

As the light faded, Naruto noticed that Dodomon had transformed into a purple and white dragon, standing as tall as he was, with a red gem embedded in its forehead. Meanwhile, the small white and blue device that had been glowing also ceased to emit light.

"Is that really you, Dodomon?" Naruto inquired, bewildered by the transformation of his once tiny companion.

"I'm doing great, actually even better than great, and I'm Dorumon now," the Digimon said with a grin. Naruto didn't completely grasp what had occurred, but he realized that his life was about to become much more exciting from this point forward.

A/N: I hope you all enjoy this new chapter of the story. It was a tough decision to choose Naruto's Digimon partner. I considered Renamon since she's a fox and Naruto is the host of the nine-tailed fox. I also thought about Gatomon and Black Gatomon for their mega-level DNA Digimon forms. However, I ultimately settled on Dodomon because I believe it suits him better. As for the story, there won't be any explicit content for quite a while, at least until Naruto and the other characters reach 18 years old.
