Chapter 2: Harem Beginnings.

Sainan City, Japan

Naruto jumped out of the massive hole on the side of his house, his eyes glowing red with rage. But he blinked in astonishment as he saw what looked like a frog wearing clothes inside a small flying saucer.

Naruto asked, snapping out of his rage at the sight of Lala's suitor, "You are not one of Lala's fiancee candidates, are you?"

Naruto was praying that the frog thing would say no. He could imagine a father willing to marry his beautiful daughter, like Lala, off to what he assumes was an alien toad.

"I'm the princess's future husband, just call me Lord Lacospo," the big toad said with a smirk. "Now, where's my Lala?"

Naruto had to hold back because his gut told him to take out the ugly green alien, but he thought he'd try talking it out first.

Naruto said, "Hey buddy, Lala doesn't want to marry you, and if I hadn't stepped in, your attack just now could've really hurt her," looking at the giant toad, but the alien just didn't care. "What I am saying is that you either leave peacefully or by force."

"Is that a threat, human?" the toad replied, not at all guilty for almost bringing harm to Lala. He looked down at Naruto like he was an insect for him to crush and devour. That was his first and last mistake.

Naruto had enough of the toad's bullshit, so without hesitation, the Uzumaki leaped at the air-bound alien, his fingernails turning to razor-sharp claws.

Lacospo let out a terrified scream, completely freaking out as he dangled over 20 feet in the air in his stupid flying contraption! He couldn't believe it, who the hell knew humans could jump that high? Just as Naruto brought his claw down, ready to annihilate him, he was blasted back by what looked like a freaking red force field! What a ridiculous turn of events! This is infuriating!

"Who the hell do you think you are, attacking me, you pathetic human? You're going to regret that decision, I swear!" Lacospo bellowed, his confidence surging as he realized he was in the clear. The alien was true to his word; he slammed his fingers on the controls of his flying ship, unleashing a barrage of lasers and bombs aimed right at Naruto, whose eyes widened in shock.

"Fuck," was all Naruto got out as the lasers and bombs reached him, causing a massive explosion that rocked the neighborhood.

"Haha, that's what you get, silly human, for trying to take me on," Lacospo chuckled as he observed the spot where Naruto once stood, now just a massive crater with no trace of him. "Now, it's time to locate Lala."

The enormous toad-like alien was on the verge of entering the house where he believed Lala was located, but his plans were thwarted when a fireball struck his ship, causing it to crash to the ground.

"What the hell hit me?" Lacospo asked with a groan. The ship's force field had thankfully protected him from the attack, but he was still banged up from the impact into the ground.

"Where do you think you are going, frog?" a voice that sounded like Naruto but deeper said, making Lacospo look up to see a creature with nine tails that was made of fire and was canine in nature. "Get ready to be reduced to ash."

"What the hell are you?" Lacospo demanded. He had figured out that this thing was what he assumed was a human before, but was now a beast. Was the supposed human an alien in disguise?

"I am your worst nightmare, punk," Naruto replied, firing a barrage of fireballs from his mouth at Lacospo, who looked on in fear but got smug when his ship defenses protected him.

"Is that all you got?" Lacospo taunted, but that was his last mistake. Naruto growled in rage; his orange-red flames turned blue and white as the heat increased.

The shield of the Lacospo ship slowly started to crack, making the taod alien panic. He was looking for a way to get away, but his ship's propulsion systems were damaged from the crash, so now he was a sitting duck waiting to be cooked.

"No way, this can't be happening to me!" Lacospo yelled, looking for a way out or someone to lend a hand. "Help me, anyone!"

The force field around the ship was about to give way, but before it did, Naruto was tackled by a pink blur that turned out to be Lala. The Uzumaki canceled his flames, as he did not want to harm his mate.

"I made it just in time," Lala said, relieved to see Lacospo still alive, even if he looked completely freaked out. "Calm down, Naruto, you can't kill him because he is a prince and there would be a lot of backlash if you did."

Naruto heard what Lala said and grumbled under his breath as he transformed back to his human form. The pink-haired princess watched this with interest, she gazed at the Uzumaki's rod and her scientific mind was wondering how something that size could fit inside her.

Naruto inquired, gazing directly into Lala's eyes, "So, you are a princess?" The pink-haired woman nodded, feeling no need to conceal it any longer.

"And you’re not actually human," Lala remarked as she gazed at Naruto's bare form, noticing that his transformation had torn his clothes apart.

"I am a kitsune," Naruto explained, but Lala looked at him in confusion, prompting him to elaborate, "Essentially, I am a fox youkai, a type of Japanese monster."

"I don't get it but we can talk about this more later, let's deal with Laposco now," Lala said in a strangely serious voice.

Naruto was annoyed that the pink-haired woman ignored his question, but he understood she wanted to deal with the toad first, so he watched as Lala walked over to Laposco, who had made it out of his ship that had started to melt from the heat of Naruto's flames.

The toad alien looked excited to see Lala, but his expression soon changed to one of fear and horror as Lala started to say something that Naruto couldn't fully hear, but he was sure she said something along the lines of telling her father that Laposco attacked her.

Laposco's face turned white as a ghost before he took his damaged ship and fled. Lala returned to Naruto's side with a bright smile, making the Uzumaki sweat drop at how fast her mood changed and the fact that she threatened someone and is now smiling in his face.

Fast Forward

Sainan High

Naruto was now in his first class, which happened to be his homeroom. He was looking out of the window in the back, and the Uzumaki sighed as he had to endure another day of school.

The attack by Lacospo occurred yesterday, resulting in the destruction of his home; however, Lala was fortunately able to restore his house using one of her gadgets.

"At least my folks won't be mad when they come back," Naruto shuddered when he thought of what his mother's reaction would be if she saw her house destroyed.

"Can I have everyone's attention, please?" Naruto, the homeroom teacher, asked, waiting for everyone to quiet down. "We have a new student who will be joining us."

Naruto looked on with disinterest; that is until the homeroom teacher, who is a middle-aged man, opened the classroom door and a familiar pink-haired alien walked inside.

"Could you kindly introduce yourself?" the teacher asked politely as Lala turned to the class, smiling, her gaze focusing on a particular Uzumaki.

"Hey, I'm Lala Satalin Deviluke Uzumaki! Great to meet you all, and please look after me," Lala said happily while Naruto stared at her in shock. What was she doing here? She took his last name.

"You have the same last name as Naruto, are you two related?" the homeroom teacher asked curiously. He would usually have all the information of a new transfer student, but it seemed the peeverted principal just admitted Lala instantly without doing paperwork.

"Naruto is my husband," Lala responded cheerfully while giving an energetic wave to the astonished Uzumaki.

The classroom went silent with various emotions going through everyone's faces; most were stunned, some were curious, but a select few had heartbroken looks.

"What! You are married to Uzumaki?" Saruyama Kenichi said with a jealous look on his face. Naruto looked over to him and sweat dropped; the kid was really a big pervert, just short of Jiraiya level.

"That's correct," Lala replied again, causing the class to erupt with inquiries, which she was more than happy to respond to.

Naruto groaned as he saw the looks Lala and, by extension, he was getting; he just knew it was going to be a long day as the class rep. Yui Kotegawa gave him a look that he knew meant that she was going to give him a lecture.

On the side, Rita was whispering to her best friend Haruna. She had a sad look on her face while talking in a low tone that only they could hear.

"Uzumaki is married; how could that be?" Rita said to her friend softly. "I should have said something to him sooner."

"Please remain calm, Rita. I doubt that Uzumaki is genuinely married," Haruna commented while observing Lala respond to all the questions posed by the class. "I believe that Lala is simply another girl who has feelings for Uzumaki."

This calmed Rita down. She was relieved by hearing this; she did not want the person she loved to be taken from her before she could even confess her feelings to him.

"We still got a shot," Rita said, hand on her chest, sneaking a peek at Naruto, who looked both shocked and resigned.

Haruna nodded at her best friend and secret lover's words. Most people don't know that she and Rita became friends because they both had a crush on Naruto.

They had met when two escaped criminals who broke out of prison entered their school to get away from the police. Their class was taken hostage with the police surrounding the building when the two escaped prisoners decided that if they were going back to prison, they might as well have some 'fun' first.

Flashback Scene Ahead

Sainan Middle School

Sainan Middle School, which was once populated by students and faculty, is now the scene of a hostage situation. Most of the students and teachers had been evaluated except for one class; the teacher, an old man, had been reported to have been shot, and whether he was alive or not was unconfirmed.

Naruto was one of the students who got through safely, but he had this determined look as he stared at the school. His folks told him to keep his real self hidden from humans, but with innocent lives on the line, he wasn't just going to sit back.

Inside Classroom

Haruna looked on numb as her kind teacher Mr. Cho lay on the ground dead, the two escaped criminal had over powered the old teacher and shot him in the head.

The purple-haired girl ideally noted the amount of blood that was on the ground. She didn't know a human body could hold that much. She glanced at the other students; there were about twenty of them. Haruna looked at them and realized she barely knew any of them.

"If I survive this, I will do my best to make some friends," Haruna whispered to herself. She looked to her side to see a brunette girl who looked like she was having a panic attack; not that she would blame her.

Haruna took pity on the brunette; she thinks her name is Rita. The purple-haired girl remembered her because Rita is always a shy, nervous wreck who barely talks to anyone. Maybe she can be her friend if they survive this.

"You may take my hand; it could help you feel more at ease," Haruna said, extending her hand towards Rita, who appeared taken aback but promptly accepted the gesture in search of solace amidst the dire circumstances.

Haruna then turned her attention to the two escaped criminals; one was a short, fat man who was bald with a tattoo on his face, and the other was tall with short hair.

"How did it all turn out like this?" the short criminals shouted. He had a gun in his hand while looking around paranoid. "We were supposed to get away without drawing attention to ourselves."

"Chill out, we can still get through this," the other criminal said, with a gun sticking out of his orange prison jumpsuit. "We have hostages, we can use them to get away."

"Don't be an idiot; we are not getting out of this, no matter if we have hostages. The police will not negotiate with criminals." The first criminal stood with an angry look on his face. "We are only getting out of here in a body bag or in handcuffs."

"So what do you think we should do?" the tall man asked at a loss; he didn't know what to do. Now, deep inside, he knew they were not getting out of this. "So we are either going back to jail or getting shot down."

"If I am going to go back to jail, I might as well get some pussy now," the short man said, as his eyes went to Haruna and Rita, the only two females present.

Haruna and Rita shivered as the two criminals looked at them with ill intent. They advanced toward them, but before they could touch them, something crashed through the window.

"What the hell!" the short criminal exclaimed before a blur slammed into him, sending him into the classroom wall with a sickening crack. Haruna knew he was not getting up from that.

The other criminal didn't wait to be attacked and started to shoot wildly at anything he saw move; thankfully, nobody was hit. Soon enough, the clip was emptied.

Then Haruna saw who had saved them; it was a boy their age. His height and build gave that away, but his face was hidden by a hoodie and some shades.

"I will kill you for this," the tall criminal screamed as he charged at the boy, but he regretted his hasty decision when a fist covered in flames collided with his face, sending him next to his fallen fellow criminal with his face badly burnt.

"You all are safe now, so get out of here," their savior said as he looked their way. Haruna saw some blonde hair under the hoodie, and a certain blonde delinquent came to mind.

Flashback Scene End

That was the day Haruna became friends with Rita, and her feelings for Naruto began to develop. It was not hard to draw a link between her savior and Naruto since both had blonde hair and around the same body type and size.

There is also the fact that Haruna was sure that Naruto was not human; the fist covered in flames gave that away, and the more she watched him, the more that fact became apparent.

Not that she or Rita cared if Naruto was not human; he could be an alien, monster, god, or demon. It does not matter to them; he was their kind classmate, and hopefully more soon enough.

The day that Naruto saved them was also the day Rita became her best friend; they became inseparable, and as they grew older, their bond changed from friendship to lovers.

It began when they hit puberty, they began to experiment to see what they liked and soon it evolved into a relationship with them both wanting the same man to be with them.

"We should confess to Uzumaki at the first opportunity we have," Haruna expressed earnestly while meeting Rita's gaze. "If we don't, we risk losing him permanently."

Rita blushed at her girlfriend's words, but she nodded as they were true. She had tried to confess to Naruto before, but it always ended up badly; it was like she was cursed to be clumsy.

One time, she called Naruto to the back of the school to confess, and it ended up with her falling into Naruto's arms, with them ending up in a sixty-nine position.

After asking Lala question after question, the teacher cleared his throat and told Lala to take any free seat she wanted. It just so happened to be the one by Naruto. She greeted the Uzumaki with a kiss to the cheek, which made the class explode in noise once more.
