Chapter 41: New Devil War

Khaos Brigade Base

Naruto had Rizevim Lucifer, the last remaining offspring of the original Satan Lucifer, impaled by a tail of purple curse energy emanating from his devil gear.

Rizevim's own devil gear had long since been destroyed in their exchange due to their battle; Samuel's curse infected the dragon-based devil gear and ate it from the inside out.

Naruto was not the most evil devil or even a sadist. However, he had to admit that he got a sense of satisfaction from seeing Rizevim in pain and close to death.

Rizevim, the servant who happens to be Greyfia's brother, had tried to save his master, but Naruto wouldn't have any of that and swiftly cut the silver hair man's limbs off without mercy, leaving him in a pool of his own blood.

Close to death, Rizevim looked at Naruto with a hatred, silently cursing the fact that he did not get rid of the blonde bastard when he had the chance all those years ago.

"You damn insect, how dare you do this to me?" Rizevim curse weakly, he knew he was not geing to make it out of here alive so he decided to play his late set of mind games with Naruto "I think I see what my father did all those years ago, you are a truly evil devil with a black heart."

This might be a compliment to some devils but Rizevim knew that Naruto hated what he said if the killing intent he was giving off was any indication, the son of Lucifer from the moment he first met Naruto knew he was one of those devils that like to think they are good people and scorn devil that follow their true nature.

"I'm nothing like your dad," Naruto said, gritting his teeth, annoyed that Rizevim's words got to him but he couldn't help feeling angry and uncertain about them, wondering if he was turning into Lucifer, the one he hated the most.

"You are just like my father merciless, cruel and just as evil, even if you try to hide it, one day everyone will find out your true nature and turn on you," Rizevim stated his eyes were getting heavy. "I am beaten now, finish it. Go forth, Naruto Satanchia, the destroyer of the Lucifer clan."

Naruto glared at the dying devil and had to take a breath to keep himself from blasting him to dust. The blonde extra devil had one question he wanted to ask before Rizevim died.

"So, what was the grand plan behind attacking my humble abode?" Naruto asked, raising an eyebrow "You had to have known that I would retaliate, and even if you won, Khaos Brigade would have taken massive losses and the other factions would attack you until they eliminated all of you."

This was the reason the three biblical factions didn't go to war again, besides the point that all of them are weakened thanks to the death of their leaders.

Rizevim's actions made no sense to Naruto; why attack him out of nowhere? Did the son of Lucifer hate the Extra Demon Faction leader so much that he would risk all that he built just for a moment of satisfaction?

This didn't sound like Rizevim at all. Despite what others think, the son of Lucifer was not as impulsive as they believe; he was a schemer. He had some bad traits, but he could suppress them if they clashed with his goals.

"Hahaha, so that why you came here because someone attack your home and you think it was me," Rizevim chuckled with blood coming out of his mouth "You are a fool and I wish you suffer a fate worse than death."

Naruto looked at Rizevim, and a sense of dread came over him. The son of Lucifer had to be lying; he attacked his home and was claiming differently. But the Satanchia stopped himself and thought. Rizevim was many things, but he was not a liar. Ironically, he had nothing to gain by denying what he did. But who could have attacked his home?

While Naruto was pondering this, Rizevim passed away as Samuel's curse spread through his body, making it glow purple with black veins. A miasma radiated from the body, but Naruto ignored it.

This was the scene that Grayfia and Mephisto came upon: the silver-haired woman went to heal up her brother Euclid enough so he wouldn't die, with an emotionless face. She didn't know what to feel toward him since they were not particularly close, but he could have valuable information they might need later.

Naruto's eyes were shut as he contemplated the enemies who stood to gain the most from his destruction of the old Satan Faction. Suddenly, the Satanchia's eyes opened wide with a sense of urgency.

"Grayfia, please assemble all the capable devils who are still able to engage in combat," Naruto ordered them turned to Mephisto with a serious expression: "I need you to go back to the Extra Demon Faction now and initiate a code black."

Grayfia and Mephisto's backs straightened as they heard the seriousness in Naruto's voice. Without a word, they did as told. Grayfia went to gather the troops, and Mephisto, with Ophis's help, teleported out to activate a code black.

Naruto didn't go with Mephisto because he was not a hundred percent sure who he thought the mastermind behind this was, and it might be Rizevim's last act of vengeance, but he had to at least be prepared.

Naruto thought, "Let’s finish this up and head home," while still hearing the last efforts of the Khaos Brigade resisting. "Rizevim could have some surprises for us here."

Another reason Naruto didn't go back now was that he was confident his faction would be able to weather any attack even without him being there. He had, of course, made preparations for something like this after all.

Naruto said, "It won't take long to wrap things up here and head back," while making his way toward the strong demonic energy mixed with a familiar dragon power, "I wonder what that could be?"

Underworld [Broader of Extra Demon Faction]

Sirzechs positioned himself at the forefront of the New Satan Faction, accompanied by his fellow Satans, Ajuka, Serafall, and Falbium, all donned in armor and prepared for the impending battle, despite some reservations about the plan.

Behind them stood their army, consisting of powerful devils such as Phenex, Gremory, Bael, along with their mid and low-class devil servants who appeared anxious and fearful.

It would not be unfair to say that the mid and low-class devils are going to be sacrificed in the coming battle to weaken the enemy and to also see the Extra demon Faction capabilities.

"We have no idea what the Extra Demon Faction can do, so we need to hit them hard and fast before they can defend themselves," Falbium, the strategist, stated, "The Phenex clan, along with the Sitri clan, will take the lead. With your healing abilities, you should be alright; the rest of us will follow suit."

The plan was discussed with the Phenex clan 'Immortality' and with the Sitri clan healing magic, they should be able to face whatever the Extra demon faction throws at them and come out alive.

The devils from the Phenex clan look smug as they were chosen to take the lead, but the devils of the Sitri clan, who are less arrogant and smarter, were worried even if they didn't show it. Taking the lead here was not a good thing; they were basically going to be the bait to test the extra demon faction's power.

Falbium went into more detail in his plan, which was basically for the first wave of their attack on the Phenex and Sitri clans and soldiers to weaken the Extra demon. Then, in a second wave, the other pillar devils and their armies would attack. Finally, the four Satans would come in and finish the enemy off.

It was a simple yet brilliant plan, but the leader of the Sitri already saw the flaw in this plan, multiple flaws, in fact.

They are unaware of the precise number of adversaries they are confronting, their forces could realistically be a hundred times larger than theirs. with the extra demon faction having been able to boost their fertility for the last few hundred years.

Another problem was that they did not know how powerful those extra demons were, except Lord Satanchia, who everyone knew was a super devil, Lady Satanchia aka Grayfia, who is rumored to also be a super devil, and Mephisto, who is an ancient devil with years of knowledge and is said to be on par with the first Lucifer.

There are other noteworthy devils, but those three stood out. According to Lord Bael, they were away fighting a war against an organization called Khaos Brigade, which Rizevim Lucifer was a part of. He assumed that the Extra Demon Faction would be ripe for the taking without their top fighter there. However, something did not feel right. How did Zekram come by this information? What if those three were not the only powerful fighters that could match the four new Satans?

The most troubling problem in the battle plan is the fact that the Sitri clan was going in to attack first, something the Phenex clan thought was an honor. In some ways, they are right, but Lord Sitri knew better; they would be facing the full might of the Extra Demon Faction.

The likelihood of their complete destruction was significant; it was probable that most of their army would not survive, and perhaps even they themselves, though he hoped that this would not occur.

It was not like they could refuse an order from the four Satans with the Bael clan backing. Lord Sitri ironically prayed to whichever God would hear him to let him live past today or at least protect his children if things went belly up.

With everyone having received their orders, Sirzechs commanded the Sitri and Phenex to advance into the extra demon faction territory.

The two devil clans, along with their armies, ascended to the sky and descended to the ground, unaware of the shadows shifting around them.

Extra Demon HQ

In the main headquarters of the Extra Demon Faction, several faces had a grim look to them; they knew that this day would come, but hoped that it would not happen for several more years.

Mio said, "They're finally about to make their move," then looked at one of her sons, "Hey Minato, can you count how many there are?"

Minato is a man with red hair like his mother but looked almost exactly like his father, he inherited the Satanchia power of darkness but his seem to give him a control of shadows stronger than even his father's to the point he could see and hear through them like if they are his own eyes and ears.

Mio looked at her son with pride. While he didn't have the raw power like her, his father, or some of his other siblings, he mastered his control of shadows to the point that he was one of the most valuable members of the sensory division.

The sensory division is basically a team of devils with powerful sensory abilities; they are used to trace any and all movements within their territory.

"There are approximately 160,000 devils from the Anti-Satan Faction, about 50,000 is heading invading while the rest remain in one place," Minato replied with his eyes closed as he focused further, "The four Satans of the Anti-Satan Faction remained behind while devils of the Sitri and Phenex clan are coming to launch an assault."

"They are likely strategizing to undermine us prior to deploying their strongest forces," remarked a man with short white hair and a muscular build. "It's unfortunate that their plan is destined to fail."

Maria, who was beside Mio, looked at the man that just spoke, who happened to be her son named Asura, with as much pride as her sister looked at her own child.

Asura was a beast of a man, not in personality but in his size and savage appearance, making people wonder how Maria could be his mother when she was so small. When she stood by him, it was like comparing a kitten to a lion.

Asura had inherited Maria's brute strength and durability along with her gravity magic which he uses to enhance his already godly strength.

"I think it is time we put those pillar of the devils, especially Zekram Bael, in their place," Maria stated with a vicious smile "Let's make them regret ever thinking of attacking us."

Maria's sentiment was shared with all those present who happen to be the pillars of the Extra Demon Faction, along with some of their strongest fighters, which included them. A strategy is currently being implemented to counter the invading forces.

The grave and resolute expressions of everyone present to protect their home at all costs illustrate the seriousness with which they regarded this attack. One thing's for sure, the Anti-Satan Faction won't see it coming.
