Chapter 4: Green Eye Monster

California [Modern Times]...

Naruto was in his office at his law firm, Wolfram Hart. He had created it many years ago as a way for him to gather power both in the supernatural community and the human one.

The law firm had some of the best lawyers working for it and many high-level clients. They had managers to dig up dirt on a lot of people: politicians, police officers, doctors, and judges. The list goes on. They were now basically in control of most of California.

On the supernatural side, Wolfram Hart have several powerful witches, werewolves, and vampires working for them as well as their reincarnated daughters (Vampire Slayers) and his half-witch, half-vampire children with Emily.

Naruto groaned as he thought about Emily. After finding out that he could still have children, Rebekah had a mental breakdown. The reincarnated Uzumaki didn't realize how bad his wife's mental state was until it was too late.

Flashback...

Boston [19th Century]...

"I am home," Rebekah said as she entered the small house her husband had bought. She was greeted with silence; she assumed that Emily's children, who were teenagers at the time, were out with friends since it was only noon and the three children the Bennett witch gave birth to, whose fathers were her husband, must be asleep.

The female vampire knew that her husband was probably breeding Emily in their bedroom. Naruto had it in his head that it would be a good idea to make a small army of vampire-witch hybrids.

To be honest, it wasn't a bad idea. The children Emily had with Naruto were powerful from a young age. They had all the powers of a vampire and the magic of a Bennett witch.

The only problem is that Naruto seems to have forgotten about her. All of his attention is now focused on breeding Emily, who was once an obedient servant, even though she is a powerful witch, she never attempted to use her magic to stop the blonde from using her to give birth to his children.

"That slut must like the way Naruto treats her," Rebekah muttered aloud, and it was true; Emily spends more time in her husband's bed than she does doing housework.

Naruto was making his way back to the temporary house that he'd bought for them to stay in Boston. Things were going well. Emily had given birth about two weeks ago to their fourth child—another girl.

The blonde volunteered to take his new baby on a walk while Emily rested. Rebekah said she'd stay back to take care of the Bennett witch.

Naruto had noticed that Rebekah had changed. She had become nicer in not so many words. She had been helping Emily with household chores and with the children.

That wasn't what bothered the blonde; it was that everything Rebekah did seemed fake. It was like she was hollow inside. He knew he'd have to do something about that soon, but he had to focus on breeding with Emily to produce as many children as possible so they can have a small army of loyal magic users with the strength of vampires.

Humans have a limited time within which they can give birth, and both he and Rebekah will have an eternity to be together. 30 or 40 years is nothing compared to what they'll experience in their immortal lives.

Naruto's House [Boston]...

Fast Forward [Two Hours Later]...

As soon as Naruto entered the house, he knew something was wrong. He could smell fresh blood, and he prayed that his children were safe. Emily's children lived with their former master, but they had moved out and started their own lives, so only Naruto's children were at the house.

Naruto quickly made it to his children's room and was relieved to find them alive and asleep. He gathered them all into one room and woke them up, but with his compulsion, he put them back to sleep.

The blonde vampire locked the door behind him as he made his way to where the scent of blood was strongest, which was in his room. He kicked the door down, and the sight that he saw shocked him.

Gore Scene Ahead...

Rebekah lay in the marital bed, naked as on the day she was born, with a severe head injury in her left hand and an arm in her right. She ate the arm like an animal would.

Naruto looked at her face, which was covered in fresh blood. His wife looked more demonic than ever. Her face looked more bat-like or snake-like, and her eyes were toxic green.

Her limbs looked longer, and her nails looked as though they had become chipped. In conclusion, if she hadn't been with her husband for so long, Naruto would have thought it was an imposter.

Naruto was so mortified by what he was seeing that he didn't notice Rebekah looking at him and throwing away the arm and head of Emily, a blonde male who ideally noticed some of Emily's body parts around the room but some was missing; he assumed Rebekah had eaten them.

"Husband, you came back early, I was just finishing up with Emily here and was about to see if her daughters would like to keep me company," Rebekah said in a crazy voice with a demonic grin.

Naruto watched as the love of his life, who now looked like something straight out of hell, for a moment understood why Mikael had wanted to kill them to prevent someone like Rebekah in her present state from spreading her curse.

Gore Scene End...

"What did you do, Rebekah," Naruto shouted as he was in shock at what his wife had done and also her appearance.

"What do you mean, dear husband? I'm just getting rid of a thieving cat." Rebekah replied in a demented voice.

Naruto was now on edge because something was seriously wrong with his wife. Meanwhile, Rebekah had killed after becoming a vampire; she was never this vicious to her victims.

"Why did you kill Emily," Naruto asked, trying to stay calm, though he didn't love the Bennett witch; he liked her well enough and they had children together. At that thought, something came to mind.

"Did you kill Emily because you thought I was going to replace you with her, and maybe you were jealous that she could have my children and you couldn't?" Naruto said, but he immediately regretted saying those words aloud as Rebekah started to growl like a wild animal.

"So what if that's the reason? I'm not wrong; you spend so much time with her and you forget about me like I'm the slave and she's the wife." Rebekah screamed as she jumped at Naruto, ready to do to him what she did to Emily.

"Stop this Rebekah! I don't want to hurt you," Naruto shouted as he dodged his wife's attacks as she became more feral.

"Too late; you've already hurt me," Rebekah said as she crawled on all fours like an animal, trying to claw out Naruto's eyes but in vain.

"You leave me no choice, Rebekah. I love you, but I don't know how to fix you." Naruto stated, staring to transform into his true vampire form that looked more bat than human.

Naruto used his superior speed to appear behind Rebekah as she launched herself at him. His claw pierced her chest, destroying her heart in more than one way.

"So you really chose her over me," Rebekah said weakly as she started to turn gray. She wouldn't die from this, but it would take her out for some time to recover.

"No, Rebekah, I love you more than anyone in the world, but as you are now, you're a danger to my children." Naruto said sadly, somehow having to tell his children that Emily's their mother is dead without telling them that Rebekah did it. "What a mess!"

Naruto took Rebekah in his arms and looked around at the bloody mess his wife had caused. He hoped Idunn and Siv, their children, would somehow be able to help him snap Rebekah back to her senses.

Fast Forward...

Several years have passed since Emily's gruesome death, he had told his four daughters that their mother was slaughtered by Klaus. The way she died fit more into the way the hybrid kills his enemies, so it wasn't hard to convince them. Since that day the four girls vowed to make Klaus die a slow and painful death.

For Rebekah, Naruto had to use vervain to weaken her so he could manipulate her mind enough to erase her memory of killing Emily and replace it with Klaus's doing.

It solves the problem without Emily around. Rebekah has no more reason to be jealous. Their two children, Idunn and Siv, have also returned to them.

It was funny how, every time one of the children died and came back as a new body with a different appearance, they were always female.

Naruto had told his daughters the truth about who killed Emily. They were shocked and punched him in the gut when they recovered.

"What the hell were you thinking of breeding another woman in front of our mother, you bastard? You know she wants a big family but can't have any more children because she's a vampire." Idunn yelled at her father on her mother's behalf.

"You should know better, dad. Her inability to have any more children is a sore subject for mother." Siv said in a calm voice, tempted to cut off his head. She wondered if it would grow back and make him smarter.

"I knew that then, but what's done is done. I erased Rebekah's memory of killing Emily and had Klaus take the fall. Now four Bennett hybrids are after his life." Naruto said with a cat-that-caught-the-canary smile.

Naruto's daughters sighed in frustration, they couldn't figure out why their father hated Klaus so much, other than the obvious reason of him killing Esther and making them have to be on the run from Mikael.

"When are you going to let go of your hatred of Klaus's father?" Idunn asked with an annoyed look on her face.

"I don't hate Klaus. He is just someone everyone thinks can't do anything good, so he is the perfect man to use to take the fall." Naruto replied with a wicked smile.

"You are so bad, daddy," Siv said with a giggle. She didn't care if he used Klaus as a fall guy. Idunn looked at her sister with disbelief but she should know by now that she's a daddy's girl. "Don't give me that look. Do you want our mother to be the focus of our other siblings' rage?"

"Whatever, I hope you don't think that this won't eventually come and bite us in the ass. The truth always finds a way to come out." Idunn stated wisely, making her sister burst out laughing.

"And when it happens, we'll deal with it as a family. Now let's see what your mother is making for lunch." Naruto said, knowing that Rebekah loves being a housewife who takes care of her husband and children.

Flashback End...

California [Modern Time]...

Naruto just hung up from a call with his eldest daughter he had with Emily, Rose. She had told him her latest plan to get revenge on Klaus.

Over the years, his daughters had tormented Klaus to the point where Naruto almost felt bad for him. They would let the original hybrid fall in love, then they would brutally take it away by killing or having someone else kill the love of Klaus's life.

They even teamed up with Mikael, who took a liking to them, as they all bonded over their hatred of Klaus to the point where Mikael even joined them on their crusade to make Klaus's life a living hell instead of just straight-up killing him.

Rebekah didn't approve of what Emily's daughters were doing, but Naruto put his foot down when she tried to get in the way. He told her of his truce with Mikael, that they wouldn't get in each other's way, and he wouldn't hunt them.

Since Mikael was working with his daughters with Emily to punish Klaus. If Rebekah interfered, it would break their truce and all hell would break loose and his daughters would be their enemy along with her father.

Rebekah was reluctant to agree to stay out of whatever Mikael was planning to do to Klaus , but refuses to stop contacting her family. Naruto might not have known if she did, but if she got involved with her former family's nonsense, he made sure to tell her that he would chain her up in a cell deep underground at the Wolfram Hart law firm, a place where dangerous creatures are kept.

Rebekah shivered at the threat. She had been in the cells under Wolfram and Hart before It was a place devoid of light and sound. You wouldn't know if someone was in front of you if they were an inch away, it was a fate worse than death.
