Chapter 2: Bennett

Flashback...

New World[Mystic Falls]...

"I find it funny that he would kill Esther first instead of you; I always thought you would be the one he'd kill if he ever snapped," Naruto said, making Klaus grow increasingly frustrated.

"What are you trying to say?", Klaus asked as he got up in the blonde's face.

"I am saying that it is more than likely you killed Esther and now you want us to run away with you so Mikael can hunt us down and kill us with you." Naruto stated, not intimidated by the hybrid in his face.

"You son of a bitch! How dare you say I killed my mother? What reason do you have?" Klaus exclaimed with fury; if Naruto didn't know any better, he would think it was genuine.

"There are several reasons why you would want your parents dead; from the abuse you suffered at their hands to Esther sealing away your werewolf side." Naruto said, not caring about the damage his words would cause between siblings.

Naruto said, "I think it's best to part ways here." He turned and walked away without giving anyone else a chance to speak.

Rebekah looked at the retreating blonde and at her brothers before she gave them a sad smile before she ran after her husband; it seemed she had made her choice.

"Wait, where are you going?" Rebekah asked as she caught up with her husband, but Naruto paid her no mind.

The blonde knew when Mikael returned, there would be hell to pay; he already hated Klaus, but now he had a genuine reason to kill him to avenge his wife's death. He would burn the world down if it meant killing Klaus.

"Get the girls; we are leaving this place," Naruto said. "When Mikael comes back, this place will be burned down."

"What do you mean?" Rebekah asked, to which Naruto was growing increasingly annoyed that she wasn't following his orders.

"Your brother was obviously lying; your father wouldn't have killed your mother for two simple reasons, and those are she is a powerful witch thus she is useful to him and deep down, he loves her too much to take her life," Naruto stated before he glared at Rebekah. "Now, go get the girl; we are leaving this place. Don't make me repeat myself again."

Rebekah shivered as she heard her husband's voice; ever since he became a vampire, something had changed within the blonde. Her mother told her that his soul was damaged when he cast a spell of protection on their children before he was turned into a vampire.

Their twin girls now also have super human abilities, Esther believes that they might have some form of immortality, but Rebekah will not allow anyone to test that theory.

Rebekah said, "Fine, but we will have to work on your people skills, I am your wife, not your pet."

Naruto looked at his wife in amusement; she sure didn't mind being treated like a pet in bed. He would put a leash on her and ride her ass until her voice gave out from screaming his name.

The family of four left Mystic Falls just in time to see Mikael burn it to the ground in rage over his wife's death followed by a roar of fury as he swore to kill Klaus.

If his soul had been destroyed, he would have become a mindless monster; however, since his soul was merely damaged, his emotions were muffled, and over the years they began to slowly recover along with his soul.

"Why are you here, Mikael?" Naruto asked, not in the mood for games.

Mikael stayed silent for a moment before speaking, "Where's Klaus?"

"I don't know; we haven't talked to him since he left Mystic Falls." Naruto answered honestly, but Mikael kept his eyes on Rebekah who looked nervous.

"Where is your brother? I will only ask you once," Mikael said as he pulled out the white oak stake he had made to slay his own children if they ever got out of control.

"I don't know where he is but even if I do I won't tell you" Rebekah stated with a scowl on her face, she didn't like the way her father treated her brother.

"I know that you and Elijah have been sending you messages behind your husband's back it seems" Mikael said as he watched Naruto's face shift from betrayal to anger.

"You have been in contact with Klaus," Naruto stated, not asking as the look on Rebekah's face made it clear she had been in contact with her siblings without telling him.

"Yes, but it was only to let them know I was okay," Rebekah said, not telling the blonde she had been kept up to date on the happenings of her other siblings.

"Tell me where Klaus is now," Mikael demanded as he started walking closer to the family.

"Hmmm...I think you should tell him where Klaus is," Naruto said as he watched Mikael get closer, but he couldn't find it in himself to fight to keep Klaus's location from Mikael.

"No," Rebekah said in shock, "if I did that, he would kill Klaus and my other siblings."

"So you'd rather put me and your two daughters in danger?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No, I would not," Rebekah replied, but as her father got closer, Naruto looked at her with an emotionless face.

"It looks like it does to me, Mikael had the one thing that could kill us in his hands and you refused to give him the information he is looking for, so he could leave us alone." Naruto said stepping aside to everyone's surprise, even Mikael who stopped moving.

"What are you doing?" Rebekah asked, looking at her husband who always protected them as if he had lost all interest in being there.

"I am going to pack my things and head to another city; this one is no longer safe," Naruto said as he watched buildings burn and people ran up and down the streets in panic.

Everyone looked at the blonde as he began to walk away, abandoning his family to Mikael; Rebekah couldn't believe that her husband was going to let her father kill her.

"Now, daughter, tell me where Klaus is, and I will leave you alone," Mikael said, his face softening. "You were always my favorite; don't make me have to do this."

Rebekah looked at her daughters and then back at her father; she wouldn't put her daughters in danger for anything, not even her own siblings. Rebekah bowed her head and was about to tell Mikael what he wanted to know when suddenly a monstrous hand ripped through her father's chest, taking his heart.

With his heart ripped from his chest, Mikael's body began to turn gray as he lost consciousness; Rebekah looked behind her to see Naruto with his arm fully transformed into its vampiric state.

Naruto pulled his hand out of Mikael's chest and threw his body aside before picking up the white Oak stake that Mikael dropped when he impaled him on his arm.

"It's time to go." Naruto said as Rebekah snapped out of her shock and had an angry look on her face, but Naruto wouldn't have any of that.

"Get that look off your face if you have anyone to be angry at; it should be yourself, you are the one that caused Mikael to be here because you couldn't break ties with your siblings, specifically Klaus," Naruto stated, not caring about the hurt look that came on Rebekah's face as their daughters tried to console her "You could have gotten us all killed."

"Sigh... Look, I am sorry, but tricking Mikael into thinking that I abandoned you was the easiest way to get him to let down his guard," Naruto said with an apologetic look.

Naruto waited for his wife to calm down before leading them away. He had Mikael slung over his shoulder; he planned to throw him into the ocean before escaping with Rebekah and his children.

Weeks later, Rebekah started talking to him once again; both had their grievances with each other. Rebekah for keeping the secret that she had been in contact with her siblings, which almost got them killed by Mikael, and for not telling him about it sooner and her anger at her husband for almost abandoning her to death by her father's hands.

Fast Forward...

Salem [Massachusetts]...

It was during the time of the Salem witch trials that Naruto and Rebekah had taken temporary residence in the city.

Their daughters have long since died to Rebekah's great sadness but she knew they would reincarnate and find them eventually but for now they were keeping their head down to avoid any suspicion.

The blonde had his eyes on a particular woman by the name of Emily Bennett; she was a powerful witch of the Bennett line, Esther was mentored by one herself and she became one of the most powerful witches to ever live. To have another just like her walking around was just too much for the blonde to resist he had to bind her to himself.

As luck would have it, Emily is a slave, and her master is a fat pig who doesn't realize that she is a witch, if ahe wanted he would suffer a fate worse than death with just a thought from her.

Slave Owner Yard...

Naruto approached Emily's master and offered to buy her. The pig initially refused, but when Naruto pulled out a bag of gold, he was more than happy to sell her.

Emily looked on in shock as she was being sold to a handsome blonde man, but that was not the problem.

"Master, please don't do this; think about the children," Emily pleaded as she was a slave whose Master had taken liberties with her many times, resulting in her two children being born, a boy and a girl, who were six and eight years old.

"Shut up, bitch," the fat man shouted. "And get off my property; you're his problem now." The man's face was red from having a slave talk back to him, especially in front of another white man. If he still owned her, he would have beaten her black and blue.

Turning to Naruto now, Emily looked at him with a pitiful face and pleading eyes, "Please buy them too; I will do anything you ask of me if you do." She then dropped to the ground, her head bowed low.

Naruto turned to his wife who had remained silent during this exchange; she could empathize with the woman being a mother herself, so she looked at Naruto and nodded, handing him the gold she had brought with her. As her husband used all of his to buy the witch.

Naruto said, "I will take the children too." He handed the greedy man the gold, which the man took without batting an eye; he was essentially selling his own children.

Emily raised her head when she heard this and got to her feet, running to fetch her children from inside the house. She brought them out and stood in front of Naruto.

"Thank you so much, Master," Emily said while lowering her head, making her children do the same.

"Don't thank us just yet," Rebekah spoke out for the first time. "We are going to get our money's worth out of you."

Emily shivered as she heard that but gave a timid but grateful smile; she did say she would do anything they ordered her to do if they brought her children and it wasn't like she didn't know bedroom duties were going to be included and by the looks of it the blonde man's wife would be joining them.

Naruto walked hand in hand with his wife as Emily and her children trailed behind them, Emily didn't know what to expect from her new master but she hoped that at least he wasn't a monster.
