Chapter 9: Darth Sidious

Spaceship Konoha...

"We know that the Sith were behind the creation of the Clone Army, and they are also behind the creation of the Separatists, who were led by Count Dooku, aka Darth Tyranus. He seems to be the apprentice of the Sith Lord, and Ventress here is his own apprentice," Ashoka said as she sat beside the blonde while shooting looks in Ventress direction.

"There is also Order 66; we need to find out what that means," Naruto said. "I have a feeling that if we know what that means, we can end the Sith's plans."

"The Jedi Temple is no longer secure; we will need to have Master Yoda come here in secret to fill him in on everything," Aayla said, her head aching from the fact that the Sith essentially had control over both sides of the war, while the Jedi and Republic remained oblivious.

"So what do we do now, Master?" Ashoka asked as she moved closer to Naruto while Talon kept herself on the blonde's left arm; Ashoka took his right hand and hugged it.

Naruto looked at his apprentice and saw how Ashoka tried to get as much contact with him as possible; the blonde knew as a Togruta, Ashoka was naturally inclined to be part of a community, or a pack, so it was only natural for her to seek attention from an alpha male.

"I think that our best bet is for me to go inside Hego's house alone while you all keep a lookout so no one will get the jump on us," Naruto said after a moment of thought; he knew that he could avoid or defend against most Sith traps, but he doubted that the others did as well.

"Yes, I am a Jedi Knight," Aayla said. "I can take care of myself."

"I agree we are not damsels that need you to protect us; we can fight for ourselves," Talon stated, looking Naruto in his eyes, daring him to try and stop them from going with him.

"Sigh, fine," Naruto replied. "But be careful; we don't know what we might find, so keep your guard up at all times."

"Don't touch anything; there may be traps on them," Naruto ordered. "If you want to move something, use the Force."

The Four spent the time going through books and files but found very little to do with the war but something to do with Darth Plagueis's attempts to manipulate life.

"There must be more here," Naruto thought to himself. "I have to focus on the Force and let it guide me."

Naruto's eyes lost focus for a moment and then he was given a vision of the past by the Force of the secrets Darth Plagueis had hidden within himself.

There is hidden behind a bookshelf, so the blonde pulled the shelf out of the way and looked at the security system. He knew the code from his vision.

Most people would use a biometric security system, but the blonde guessed Darth Plagueis didn't think anyone would be dumb enough to break into his home, and there was also what lay behind the door.

As the door opened, the blonde was greeted by the hologram of Hego Damask II, also known as Darth Plagueis, who looked at the four force-sensitive individuals.

"Who are you all? Did my apprentice, Darth Sidious, send you here to destroy the last piece of me?" The Sith Lord said calmly as he observed the intruders.

Naruto and the others now had the name of the Sith Lord manipulating the Republic; it is Darth Sidious. Now, all they have to do was trick the Force Ghost into telling them about Order 66 and what is Darth Sidious's real name.
