A New Path in the Force (CH 1)

Chapter 1: A New Path

On the planet of Coruscant, located in a galaxy far, far away, an orange Togruta sat at a shady bar, sipping a blue liquid and pondering how her life had been ruined by those she once trusted.

She had once been a Jedi Padawan with a bright future ahead of her; however, when someone she considered a friend betrayed her and framed her for a crime she didn't commit, she faced a trial in which no one except her Master believed in her innocence. Although she was eventually cleared of all charges, she could not forgive the Jedi Order and rejected their offer to return.

She rarely drank, but she made an exception today. The green Twi'lek bartender wore less clothing than a streetwalker would wear—a tank top, but no bra, so her nipples were clearly visible. Her shorts were also two sizes too small.

While still nursing her drink, the front door of the bar opened, and in walked a man wearing a jacket with a hood that covered most of his face, save for his mouth, and a blaster on his hip.

The man approached the bartender and said, "Hello, gorgeous! Where have you been all my life?"

"Hey stranger, you finally decided to visit little old me." She replied with a smile.

"Well, how can I stay away from a fine woman like you?" he flirted back. "And have you received any packages for me?"

"Hmm, So you just came to get your packages, is it to hard to ask for you to just come see me," she said with a fake pout.

"Oola, don't be like that; you know I would cross the galaxy to see that tight ass and perky tits," he joked in reply.

"If you say so, Naruto," she giggled.

She leaned and whispered in his war, "I have some information for you in the back on a data cartridge; just give me a moment to get it."

Naruto took a seat by the bar, close to where Ahsoka was sitting, just two chairs away. She continued to sip her drink while observing Naruto from the corner of her eye. He must have sensed her gaze, for he turned his head in her direction and smiled slightly before returning his attention to the Twi'lek.

Oola came back with three packages and rested them on the counter in front of Naruto. She said, "I'm going to have to start charging you for all these deliveries." She joked.

"I know a way to pay you back for all of your hard work," Naruto flirted.

Before Oola could answer, a group of three men entered the cantina - one human, one Nautolan, and one Trandoshan. All were fully armed and looked like elite bounty hunters. They scanned the room as they walked up to the bar and ordered some drinks, which Oola promptly served them. They talked loudly about their latest bounties and the women they had bedded, then the Trandoshan stood up, announcing that he needed to take a piss, causing his companions to laugh.

"Hey, you're Ahsoka, former Padawan of the Jedi Order," the Trandoshan hunter stated. "You're coming with us." He had somehow managed to sneak up on her while she was in the bathroom and now had his blaster resting against her head.

"She doesn't look like much", the human hunter said as he drew his blaster and had some handcuffs ready.

"Someone is willing to pay a lot of money for her, so who cares?" the Nautolan replied.

Ahsoka cursed under her breath; she was so furious with the order she had left her lightsaber back at the temple now that she needed it the most. The human moved to cuff her, but as soon as his hand reached for her, smoke filled the air.

Through the smoke, Ahsoka could hear the sounds of fighting and blasters being fired. She quickly ducked to the ground to avoid being hit. A few seconds later, the smoke began to clear, revealing the bounty hunters, unconscious and bleeding, with several broken bones. Standing over them was the man who had kept his face covered throughout the entire fight.

He stated, "That was a waste of time," before looking around and finding Oola holding her chest and blood pooling in her hand.

"Oh no!" he exclaimed and then rushed to Oola's side, followed closely by Ahsoka.

Oola tried to speak, but she could not; Naruto moved her hand to find the wound on her chest, and then ripped her tank top off to clearly examine it.

He looked at Oola and said, "You are going to be okay; trust me." He promised.

Naruto placed his right hand over the wound on Oola's chest and held her hand in his left hand. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

Ahsoka glared at him for giving the woman false hope; the wound was fatal unless she was placed in a bacta tank right now. She was about to yell at him, but she felt the Force being focused in his right hand.

Naruto's hands started to glow and the wound on the Twi'lek's chest slowly began to close. After a few minutes, Oola took a deep breath of air as her wound fully healed. Both Oola and Ahsoka looked at the healed wound in disbelief. He got up and gave Oola a hand to help her up. Oola took his hand and wanted to question him before he stated, "That was close, the blaster bolt just grazed you." Oola's eyes glazed over before she replied, "Naruto, if you want to get me naked, you just had to ask." She then went to the back to get a spare top and completely forgot that she was fatally injured a few minutes ago.

Ahsoka had seen all this and knew it was a mind trick, but she didn't know that the Force could heal on that level. She kept staring at him but words did not come from her mouth.

Naruto then went over to the bounty hunter to scan them to see if they had any warrants. he found they did when he handcuffed them all together and took their weapon and placed them on a table.

When Oola came back now stated ,"These 3 all have warrants on them you can turn them in to get money to repair the damage to the bar and still have money to spare".

"Usually I wouldn't turn them over but I think I will make an exception for these bastards", she said

"As fun as this was I have to get going", Naruto said but before he did he pulled Oola into a kiss with his hands fondling her ass.  moaning in his mouth before he pulled back leaving her in a daze. Ahsoka seeing all this blushed but quickly followed Naruto as he left the bar.

"Master, wait!" Ahsoka called after him.

Naruto continued walking forward, keeping an eye on the orange-skinned Togruta who followed him.

"Not that I'm against S and M play," he said, raising an eyebrow, "but why are you calling me 'Master,' squirt?"

"I saw what you did back there," she said, blushing and choosing to ignore the S and M part.

"Unless there is another person following me, I guess I mean you small stuff", he teased

"My name is Ahsoka Tano," she growled back.

He just stared at her and then began to laugh. "You have some guts, kid," he said. "So why are you following me?"

"Master, how did you use the Force to heal that woman?" she inquired.

"I'm not a Jedi, so stop calling me 'master,' and why should I tell you?" Naruto said as he continued walking towards his ship.

"What? How can that be? You called upon the Force in a way most Masters in the Jedi Order could only dream of doing," Ahsoka said in amazement.

As Naruto was about to answer her, they were interrupted by two robed individuals whom Ahsoka immediately recognized as Pong Krell and Saesee Tiin, two Jedi. When they approached Ahsoka, she tensed up, which Naruto saw immediately and put up his guard.

Krell demanded, "You there with the hood, identify yourself now."

"No, I don't think I will," Naruto replied simply. "I have done nothing wrong, is there a reason for you getting in my way, Jedi?"

Both Jedi hands moved to their lightsabers, "You Padawan Ahsoka, what are you doing here?" Jedi Tiriin questioned.

"That is former Padawan, I am no longer a part of the order" Ahsoka replied quietly and still tense.

"We received a report of an incident at a nearby bar involving a shady individual and a Togruta. We also sensed a strong disturbance in the Force; you two wouldn't happen to know anything about it, would you?" Krell questioned sarcastically.

"No, I have no clue what you're talking about," Naruto replied cheekily. "If there is nothing else, I will be on my way."

"You two are coming with us for questioning," Krell snapped at the blonde.

"I didn't know the Jedi had any authority over mercenary guilds," Naruto said calmly, but still on guard.

"Enough of this," Tinn said, while drawing his lightsaber, causing Krell to do the same.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" the blonde questioned, readying himself for battle as he glanced sideways to see Ahsoka frozen in place.

The blond sighed before reaching for his Mandalorian iron blades. He had two curved blades in each hand. He bent his knees and shot forward at speeds that caught the Jedi by surprise. Tinn swiped at the blonde with his lightsaber, but the attack was blocked much to everyone's shock. The blonde kicked him in the stomach and sent him flying backward, falling onto his back. Krell jumped at the blonde with a yell, but was surprised when he was caught in midair by an invisible force. He realized the hooded figure was Force-sensitive. He was thrown into his comrade, knocking him back down onto the ground as he tried to get up. The hooded figure reached into his pocket and pulled out a black pellet, throwing it at the two Jedi. It exploded on the ground, releasing a black smoke. The Jedi began to cough before they knew it; they had lost consciousness.

"Well, that's it," said the blonde. "I better get out of here before the Jedi send any more people after me."

The blond put his blades away before starting to focus on the Force. Lightning started to dance off his body, and it was at this point Ahsoka snapped out of her frozen state. Feeling the hooded man do something with the Force, Ahsoka, on instinct, put her hands around him as he disappeared. They both reappeared next to a spaceship that was orange and silver.

What the hell was that? Ahsoka demanded as she regained her bearings.

"That was a secret," Naruto said as he got onto his ship, taking his hood off and revealing his appearance to Ahsoka. "Is there a reason you're following me?"

Ahsoka seeing the blonde without his hood took in his features, he was a blond hair blue eyed man in his twenties about 6 feet tall. she then wonders why she was following him but realized the force was pushing her to go with him, I wasn't like she had anyway to go, she was not going back to the order or she could barely remember her home world. the blonde was still looking at he waiting for an answer. she look at the blonde the made up her mind with determination she look directly in his eyes.

"Train me," she said. "I don't know who you are, but I know you are powerful in the Force, and all my instincts are telling me to follow you." Ahsoka declared. "I'm not taking no for an answer."

"Why should I train you?" he asked. "It's just going to make things harder for me."

"I can be of help to you," Ahsoka said, trying to get the blonde to accept her. "I can cook, clean, and I'm good with machines."

"Hmm, can you fix a medical robot?" he questioned. "I found one on my last mission," he remembered how he got the robot; the client had tried to cheat him out of payment, so he beat him to a bloody pulp and stole his belongings, including the robot.

Ahsoka's eyes brightened at his words. "Yes, I can do that as long as you have the tools and parts for it," she answered.

"Okay, I will let you come with me, and I will teach you a thing or two, but you will have to earn your keep," he warned her, unwilling to take on someone who couldn't take care of themselves.

"You have nothing to worry about," she said reassuringly.

The blonde went to the navigation controls of the ship and started it up while Ahsoka sat in the chair beside him, getting ready for takeoff.

The ship took off into the sky, passing by the clouds and eventually leaving the planet entirely.

"So, where are we heading?" Ahsoka asked as they got further away from Coruscant.

"We are heading to Nar Shaddaa. I have some business there as well. I should tell you that I have another crew mate. She's probably sleeping. I may have worked her out more than I thought", he said with a perverted grin.

"I don't need to hear that last part, you pervert ", she said while blushing.

"In any event, I will introduce you when she gets up; let me put the ship on autopilot and I will show you where you will sleep," Naruto informed her before getting up and signaling for her to follow him.

They walked down a corridor of the ship before he stopped in front of a door and opened it. Inside was a small bed and table, but nothing else.

"This room hasn't been used for a long time, so we will have to get you some stuff when we land. You should try to get some sleep," Naruto advised before turning around and leaving the room.

"Thank you," she said in a small voice, and he heard her but chose not to reply.

Naruto continued walking until the sound of his footsteps faded away. Ahsoka threw herself onto the bed, trying to process everything that had happened to her in such a short amount of time. Finally, she decided to trust in the Force and let sleep take her.
