I did Tailgate so it's only right that I do his eventual partner. Their whole arc and story means so much to me, Cyclonus going from hating Tailgate and seeing him as annoying, to softening and helping him, to eventually confessing his love for him like the bot who doesn't like talking about emotions is the first to say "I love you" :<. I would so recommend the 'More Than Meets The Eye' and it's sequel 'Lost Light' comics, and there's some video essays on Youtube that go over their relationship for anyone who wants to catch up or know what's going on. If anyone does end up looking up Transformers comics and characters because of my audios, you'll have made one vampire very happy. The movies and the cartoons get the most attention, but there's been some beautiful moments in the comics (the 2005-2018 IDW continity) that I still get so emotional about : Cyclonus offering to teach Tailgate an old song to help calm him down, Soundwave offering help to Cosmos and comforting him when he's afraid and alone, Nautica's platonic love for her friends and how deep it runs and what is basically her desire to have a queer-platonic poly relationship, the trans representation with Anode and Lug and Arcee, Grimlock and Misfire, Chromedome and Rewind, Megatron returning to the Lost Light and the development of his and Rodimus' relationship up until the very end, Starscream and Bumblebee's ghost, Blurr trying to get everyone out of Cybertron, Starscreams true form, I could go on and on for ages. I love Transformers a lot, these comics and characters are potentially a special interest given how they make me feel when I talk about them, but I cannot ramble here. Check out the comics if you want, and there's video essays out there explaining them if anything gets confusing.
