here's chapter 23. I'm still working on chapter 24, but it should be done by the 25th at the latest. I will also release the promised Bad End on that day.

Time Manipulation doesn't exactly seem like the expected benefit of reaching a high level in bounded fields... it's pretty specialized. Maybe it's because he is connected to Kiritsugu by virtue of being his [son], even if not by blood? Rin is still pretty cold. More even than in the visual novel's start... although I suppose part of that maybe be because of just how much Shirou presents himself as a grown Magus. Like Tohsaka thought, it's just hard to view him like a kid. I'd really like to see her reaction when she finds out how he's actually a selfless (alright, bizarrely selfish in a way that seems selfless) person. Not his distortion, not until she's closer to him and has enough interest that it wouldn't dissuade her, but the more immediately understandable goodness about him. Waver, huh... I wonder just what he's expecting to find from the son of Emiya? Probably not Shirou.
