2025-07-03 04:29:40 +0000 UTCJimmy's character goes into Slipping Jimmy as a coping mechanism when he is angry and hurt by the people closest to him. This was the same as when he did it season 1 with Marco when Chuck told him that he is a chimp with a machine gun and backstabbed Jimmy when he found the Sandpiper case. He doubled down again as Saul when Kim left him after Howard. It is so sad for Jimmy because he never leaves anyone but everyone he loves leaves him. He tripled down this time after his call with Kim in the telephone booth. He wants to get back, checkin with her and she tells him to turn himself in. He is hurt because in reality all this is Kims idea when Jimmy didn't really want it and he was pretty sure that Kim wouldn't be able to live with it. Now Jimmy has become menacing, he doesn't want to be good anymore. Everytime he acts good someone screws him over. He would have got away with Marion if he'd been bad but there is still a remnant of goodness left in him that Marion pulled out by saying "I trusted you". Just fantastic writing that you cannot be prepared for.
