Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop

I never would have watched this show because sci-fi isn’t really my genre, but I decided to watch it with you, and I have to say - really loving it! Thank you for introducing me to a great story!

2025-06-28 17:29:43 +0000 UTCI quite like it. We have no reason to draw a connection besides the actual name so its not something the viewer is expected to do. I get why writers are told to not give more than one thing/person the same name but that is not realistic, and for a show which is (for a sci fi) trying to be fairly grounded its a good thing imo.

A lot of times it's just backstory, character development etc. You can miss a lot of good character stuff or get twisted into a pretzel if you're always over-analyzing every single scene.

2025-06-19 23:02:35 +0000 UTCthe ships that came after them was not named martian ships the martian captain thought it was OPA who wanna take Naomi, while the rest had no clue where the ships came from the ships also did not split in 6, it was 6 ships they just flew behind each other to not get spotted as several ships so they hid the fact that they were more then 1 ship until they engaged in the fight. (the 6 ships were not THAT small, bigger then the ship holden and the crew are now on) it was even big enough so all of them had a railgun even they said they never seen a ship so small has railguns

The show is set up for the viewer to not know more than any of the characters and it can definitely be confusing sometimes but I'm genuinely impressed by how quickly you guys are picking up on what is happening and by how good you are at connecting the threads and understanding the world and characters. Keep doing what you're doing!

2025-06-19 06:53:57 +0000 UTCI love what Pudgey said during the scene of the crew giving the ship a new name, “Team work!!” It is a small thing but it shows the team slowly coming together! I love this episode for many reasons: the scene at the bar with Miller and Dawes, the short story of Anderson Station, and our crew getting to know the ship they are on and giving it a new name. The naming of the ship is one of my favorite scenes! And Holden finally getting real coffee!! I was happy for him hehe

They've introduced him by name before, thats why it sounds familiar. Also, Spartan was correct, that guy Miller interrogated was the same one Julie took care of at the docks.

Additionally, people from Earth are called Earthers, while people from the Belt are called Belters. There are also a few derogatory terms you'll hear used as well. Duster for Martians, and Skinny for Belters (because of their longer bones due to living in low gravity their whole life).

Fred Johnson used to be a colonel in the UN Navy. He is now OPA. Anderson Dawes has nothing to do with the station. They just happen to share a name.
