Better Call Saul 6x3 Reaction

Comments

your in denial is so thick hahaha

Louise Marc

This episode was so death coded and I was still in shock by the end!

MarisoL

Everyone makes their own path, Nacho sealed his fate his a long time ago

Kevin Rodriguez

Nacho is the reason Gus doesn’t believe fear to be an effective motivator in breaking bad. In better call Saul, we hear Mike say this to Gus and it’s cool to see deeper insight into Gus’s thinking in breaking bad

Chris

I personally really like that Nacho didn't pull the trigger on Bolsa then turn the gun on himself. It was his way of telling them that they could figure out this mess for themselves and he wouldn't be doing them any favors. He did the best he could and went out on his own terms. Absolute madman

CoreyClip

Hated this ending for him but watching his speech again telling Hector he was responsible was so great. Nacho is one of my favorite characters out of both shows. I think others might have already said but Jimmy says his name in Breaking Bad when he was kidnapped by Walt and Jesse, he mentions Ignacio and Lalo.

Allison

Nacho (Michael Mando) breaks my heart in this episode every time as hard as the first time I watched it. Such a great tragic character and a stellar acting performance.

DominaZeta

Just a reminder that this show and all these incredible performances from these actors didn’t win a single Emmy. An absolute travesty

Jackson Natoli

He was basically doomed from the moment Gus decided he was expendable.

Liam Skoda

I’ve been waiting for this episode for quite a while now. Like Bolsa said, there are good deaths and bad deaths, and Nacho got the best death he could hope for given the circumstances. He recognized that there was no way out and he would be hunted forever, so he went out on his own terms. It’s one of the best scenes in the franchise and an incredible performance by Nacho’s actor, Michael Mando.

Dan Brooks

I feel like Michael Mando should have gotten nominated for best supporting actor in a drama series for this episode alone. He was fantastic in the entire series but he absolutely crushed it in this one.

Jeremy Lindstrom

at least he died on his own terms and nobody tortured him, he died telling everyone their truth like a real boss. Respect for my boy nacho

Angel

Also, as far as “the plan”, it was just plainly to have Nacho killed in a way that protects Gus and his father. There was no “other plan” between Nacho and Mike; their nods to each other were very much goodbyes. The only deviation was that, like y’all said, Nacho went out on his own terms. The show definitely wanted you to think there was a way out, though. To quote the showrunner Peter Gould, “the twist is that there is no twist”

Walt

I truly believe, to this day, that if Nacho went for the Bolsa kill, Mike would’ve taken out as many of Gus and Hector’s men as he could, probably starting with those two. But, unfortunately, when literally every single other person in the scene is in Breaking Bad, there’s only one way out of this one :/

Walt

Great, great episode. Great, great reaction. Thank you, both.

Rory O'Rafferty

Nachos speech to Hector is some of the best acting I’ve ever seen, RIP to a GOAT

Sean Carroll

One of the best monologues in TV history. RIP my boy, he was a real one
