2025-05-26 06:59:15 +0000 UTCI agree: Lalo is Hector’s favourite. (Also, Spartan calling Kim “the Lalo to Jimmy’s Hector” made me laugh!) Yes, both Lalo and Nacho were characters created entirely for BCS (not pre-planned) just based on two short throw-away name drop lines in BB when Saul thinks Walt & Jesse are going to kill him in the desert. (“It wasn’t me, it was Ignacio!”… and… “Lalo didn’t send you? No Lalo?”) The writers are indeed amazing: they purposefully went back over BB to pull tiny details to build out into BCS. The house is similar to the one Jimmy looked at with Kim, but not the same one. The director wanted to use the exact same house as a call-back but they weren't able to film there.
