Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

You can see the fear in Jimmys face when he goes to court to meet Lalo. He fully understands in that moment that he’s in a dangerous game: a cartel lawyer. If he makes one mistake he’s dead and now also Kim. That’s why he looked so nervous marrying her, he knew what he was getting into and didn’t want to involve her. The only reason why they got married is so they wouldn’t be required to testify against each other in court; in case they ever get caught for their little games. Jimmy is in deeper shit though and doesn’t know how to tell Kimmy.

If you recall, Gus was telling Heir Schuller that if anything happens to Lalo on this side of the border, the Cartel will blame him. So the game is to get him released from prison and he'll be forced to flea back to Mexico where Gus can do real damage.

2025-05-05 12:17:12 +0000 UTCI think Spartan is right about Gus's plan regarding Lalo. I just think you guys missed the dialog about Lalo being at flight risk if he was granted bail. Bail doesn't mean you are out of jail and that's it, it just means they let you out until the trial and if you are found inocent you get your money back. Ofc Lalo doesn't care about the bail money so he would just jump it and run back to Mexico (that's what they were referring to in this episode when they said he was at flight risk) but this precisely plays into Gus's interest since as he told Lydia in this episode he cannot hope to kill Lalo on his side of the border because it would mean war with the cartel. So he needs to get Lalo out of the US and then maybe they can kill him outside of Gus's play field. So yeah even tho it looks like they just undo their work from last episode of locking Lalo away just to set him free right afterwards in reality what this accomplished is that now Lalo cannot stay in the US because he would be haunted by the authorities.
