We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. Why is episode 4x9 the only locked episode? Kinda like shutter island.

Just a soldier carrying out orders is how i viewed Mike after this.

If Walt encountered Lalo instead of Tuco Walt dies in the first season of Breaking Bad. Also the Jimmy from the early seasons died when Chuck said you really don't mean all that much to me.

Paul Walker

I think Gus may have just let Werner and his crew all go back to Germany except for the interception by Lalo to get info about the construction. He doesn't know it is a super lab yet but he wouldn't take long to figure it out. I couldn't help but think Werner was one of Mike's half measures until the Lalo interaction, but there is no half measure when it comes to Hector's family. Jimmy, Mike and Gus all started to slip farther this episode.

To be fair I wasn't a big fan of Jimmy's character in BB but in this show the actor absolutely kills it!

Thats a great point you make. He became what he feared he'd become. Also just proves that scene he was really going to kill Walter until Jesse took out Gale and saved him. Gus really is the main bad guy of the story. Until Walter wanted to become Gus!

What's crazy here is this version of Jimmy that transitions to Saul Goodman is at his absolute peak. He'll do literally anything at this point and proved it this episode. But the Saul we see in the future post BB is a complete shadow of his former self. It's hard to believe that it's the same person. Man I'm really looking forward to the next two seasons its such great tv!

Phenomenal episode, arguably top 5 in the whole show. Lalo making moves, Jimmy finally transforming into Saul fully, fooling everyone and the audience one more time to think he was being honest, Mike killing Werner. I like how Jimmy claims he’ll do everything to live up to the name McGill and then immediately changes his name. Mike did exactly what he hated the most, he took out a man who was pretty much innocent in all of this, thus becoming what his son’s killers were all along. It also recontextualizes the scene from the ending of Breaking Bad’s third season when Walt is begging for Mike to spare his life and Mike just says “I’m sorry, I can’t do it”. He’s been there before, he had to take out a man who made an even smaller mistake than his and you can see it’s killing him inside. S’all good man

If you're interested in more singing and comedy from the actor that plays Chuck there's a very funny movie called This Is Spinal Tap. A mockumentary that pokes fun at rock n roll.

"Little brain things."..."Big brain things." Boom...LMFAO Lalo will need to step up his game to be able to keep up with Mike. A great scene though when Lalo was talking to Werner and then the phone is silent. After a few seconds he puts on that big smile and says "Michael?" You have to feel sorry for Mike having to kill Werner. Of course Werner didn't deserve that but unfortunately for him he didn't realize who Gus was and what Gus was capable of doing. I guess Spartan could have been on that panel for Jimmy's hearing. He got reeled in like the rest of them. S'all good man. The beginning of Saul.

I wasn't familiar with Michael Mando (Nacho), Tony Dalton (Lalo) or Rhea Seahorn (Kim) before BCS, but they are all phenomenal in this series! Especially Dalton... Lalo is just great. Steals the show any time he's on screen. Jimmy and Kim's relationship has "ended" many times lol

J_Fley .

Remember the last thing Chuck said to Jimmy? That is what made him turn completely, I think.

Terje Mickelson

I love this episode, and Werner's death is so pivotal for Mike's character and how he is in Breaking Bad. Werner's death essentially mirrors the death of Mike's son. Both of them were too innocent and kind-hearted for the world they were in. They each met their end when they showed a brief lapse in trust. Tragically, by killing Werner, Mike became similar to the very person he hated, the cops who killed his son.

Now it’s Season 5 time 🥳 Things are really going to start ramping up now!
