Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)
Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

Any time a date is shown on screen, try to spot it if you can. Gives you a good idea of where we are at in the timeline and is their way of showing if there are any time skips which is what happened in the cold open. For example the opening is basically a creative way to show a few months have passed. Nothing has really happened in that time and therefore the show doesn't feel the need to show us. We can assume business went on as usual for everyone in that time with not much change. When they show you a date, it's usually intentional. We are still a few years before Breaking Bad happens at this point

If you pay attention to the documents that are being typed, the first one is dated June of 2003, and the last one was dated January of 2004(the Breaking Bad timeline begins in 2008). A common theme I've noticed with reaction youtubers and BCS is that they do not have a solid idea of the timeline. Always be on the lookout for dates when they are shown or spoken to you. It will help you better understand the plot progression.

2025-03-26 23:24:33 +0000 UTCThis series isn’t really about the plot as much as it is the characters, like it’s WAY much more of a character drama than Breaking Bad, hence why everyone calls this series “slower.” There aren’t any filler episodes here, the characters psychological states is the main through-line story. It isn’t about “what’s gonna happen next,” it’s “what’s going through these characters heads.” Hence why it’s so stupid artsy with the cinematography/cold openings and most of what things are based around is the expression/micro-expression on the characters faces. The “what” is secondary in this show to the “why.” It’s also evident from how different the series productions were, BB was barely known until the 4th season and was in danger of getting canceled/dropped. Whereas BCS had all the reputation and success from BB and El Camino and had everything planned out so much more in advanced and purposefully than BB. If you watch the behind the scenes you can hear Vince and Peter talk about it in depth.

Watching these episodes that develop Huell and Jimmy's relationship really makes me sad because if you remember the last time we saw huell in breaking bad he was all alone in his living room with his sad face after being convinced by hank that his long time friend Saul had just betrayed him and sold him out to Walter. After that Saul disappeared and they never met each other again. Breaks my heart.

2025-03-26 22:34:25 +0000 UTCNot sure how I feel about Kim and Jimmy here - in one way it seems they are growing apart and living very different lives (which they are) but despite them being cold to each other for 95% of the episode, in the last minutes its clear they're still inseparable w Jimmy going to Kim and Kim doing thinking outside the box to support Jimmy.

Did we really need to see Kim open more banks for Mesa Verde, Jimmy continue to sell more drop phones, Hector go through very minimal progression in rehab, or the german boys doing construction. I think this was a great way quickly move forward all 4 major plot lines and character development within one episode that's easy to digest. Excited for whats to come because if they packed all this 'filler' into one episode, we gotta make big progress on the remainder of the season I'm guessing.
