Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

In terms of references to Alice In Wonderland, another few that might be harder to pick up on as non-Japanese speakers are Usagi, whose name means Rabbit in Japanese, alluding to the White Rabbit; and Chishiya, which is a Japonicised pronunciation of Cheshire, obviously alluding to the Cheshire Cat. There are many more allusions throughout the series to boot (some more debatable/open to interpretation, some more clear-cut), but I think those are worth pointing out as they are notable and yet unlikely to ever be picked up if they're not picked up at first, given they're not spelled out for English speakers.

DRIP DROP

I love the way they say beach. Beachee or Beachay it sounds cute to me. Interesting to see they have to get all the cards but it seems only one will win. So whoever wins does so the backs of the others who helped he or she get there. On another note, I was thinking why is the guy in the silk robe who seems to be in charge called the Hatter. Then it dawned on me when he was giving that speech that he had to kill his mate? Didn't catch who that was, and he was speaking of the original world. It hit me this is like Alice in Wonderland. So the Hatter in this show goes from the original world to the evil world of these games and then he goes crazy and justifies his actions. Arisu means Alice by the way. So Arisu is stuck in this world that doesn't make sense. In the original Alice in Wonderland the character here known as the Hatter is called the Mad Hatter. The interesting thing about the mad hatters as they were referred to in England at the time was that there was mercury in the dye they were using which caused them to go mad. Fascinating between real world and fictional. They did not know mercury was poisoning people back then. I am wondering if the guy posing as the one in charge of this gang is on something or has totally lost the plot or gone insane from the pressure of the game and the fact he might not survive.
