Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)
Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

I used to pray for days like this. I knew your reactions to this show would be so good given your attention to detail and how smart and emotionally in tune you both are. You picked up on so much and did a fantastic job following all the families and relationships in the first episode, it made me so happy to see. Can’t wait to binge the next couple episodes tonight. 2025-03-03 01:28:48 +0000 UTCI am beginning my Dark journey along with the channel. However while normally I enjoy the authenticity of watching shows in their native language I cant do it here. German is one of the languages you'll never hear anyone say (that's not being a contrarian) "It's such a beautiful language" . Maybe it is from a stereotype, an inherent bias or Hitler & my former sister in law ruined it for me but it always sounds angry or grating to my ears. My nephew was born in Germany and I have pre-WWII lineage that is tied to there so I am saying this mostly tongue in cheek. Regardless I look forward to watching the series especially after watching the first episode.

2025-03-02 23:46:43 +0000 UTCI can tell its intimidating when you first dive into Dark as a reactor with all the 'write stuff down' and 'complex' comments but you don't need to worry too much, all the confusion and mystery is intended. You both did really great at keeping on top of everything so far! If you want one piece of advice to try stay on top of it, try and memorize all the familial connections and family surnames of all the main families in the show. There's a reason they focused on the photographs in the first ep. Some people have shared a great official companion site you can select what season and episode you're on and get info including the main families in the show without any spoilers. https://dark.netflix.io/en Before or after an ep its prob worth a little five minute gander at it at least in the first few episodes just to make sure its all absorbed and people's names etc are fresh, its the main thing that can trip people up in the first half of the first season since its so dense and a lot of information is thrown at you. Other than that you don't have to worry too much, your head will be messed up and you'll be confused a lot, but only out of the intention of the writers. :D unlike many mystery shows pretty much everything is there for a reason and there's no mystery for mysteries stake, the writing on this show is incredible and meticulously planned.
