That's why it is best to play white - You don't exactly "resign if you lose the queen like that", as Scheibel put it, more like you're supposed to resign when it is clear your position is lost and it would be a waste of time to continue playing

2025-01-24 02:33:09 +0000 UTCI haven't watched this it came out years ago! My brother got a chess set for his 9th birthday, when I was 6 (almost 7) and he taught me to play so I learned to play very young, but I never beat him. I don't have the patience for the strategy needed.
