The Pacific Episode 10 Reaction

I always get emotional when SNAFU doesn’t wake Sledge up to say goodbye, Sledge was peacefully sleeping something they hadn’t had and he doesn’t want to wake him up they had such a close relationship from war that he just left……. Such a sad scene Please watch Masters of the Air to finish the Trilogy it is about the air war portion of WW2 and is a great way to wrap this up

The crazy part about the Pacific. Its sooooooo hard to watch. But so important to watch. People need to understand war is not to be glorified. "No One Wins In War"

Definitely emotional ending! Y’all might want to take a break from military series though I recommend Masters of the Air. I am a huge fan of Black Sails if you are interested. Extremely compelling story wise!

Band of Brothers shows the brotherhood of the soldiers in war. The Pacific shows the brutal reality and tragedy of war. Both are amazing series. Hopefully you guys do Masters of Air so you can see what the pilots went through. Great reaction guys!

a note to make, Sledge and his unit went to China to clean up and occupy garrisons for a year before returning to the states. Hence Snafu's BJ comment about if they were home 6 months earlier. So alot of the celebrations and praise was done by the time they came back. Highly recommend reading Sledge's memoir, hands down one of the best memoirs of ww2, he has a very good way of describing events, sights, smells, the chaos, and the emotion of all of it. R.V. Burgin also has a memoir which is very good as well called "Islands of the Damned". Chuck Tatum has a memoir called "Red Blood, Black Sand" also.

The most emotional ending of a series
