Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

hi. theres no sound on this reaction

Saul/Jimmy needs to get out of working for another firm and get on his own. Then he can shine. At this point it's like OK we get it, Saul can't work for someone else. I hope that soon he gets out on his own where his unenviable pathologies can shine. In this case, being a lawyer, in his own practice, for, say, meth producers, as just one example. That is the Saul I like. Not current Saul working in law offices that correctly have norms, rules, and best practices, none of which he values. So yeah, get him out of those places already is where I'm at.

Chuck is a complex character. Sometimes he's right, sometimes he's wrong. Sometimes he's both at the same time, but he's an asshole even when he's right, and has given pretty questionable support in attempting to get Jimmy on to a better path. Kim well, a bit too early for me to bring up what I want to bring up, so I'll leave it there. =) At the end of the day, all of these characters have various flaws, some more than others, but they are all notable and influential and thats what makes these characters interesting.

SuddenImpulse

Dont worry about not recognising crazy 8. I didn't recognise him either.

Konrad Siggelkow

Chuck isn't entirely right with the missing money, there are two sides to every story

Guy-on-Couch

one of my favorite scenes in the show is that scene....YUP! hahaha classic slippin Jimmy

Guy-on-Couch

Logo was changed tho, it was no longer the cowboy on a horse. I wonder why

Spartan's infamous spelling moment with Hector last year 🤣 (and one of my favorite edits) : https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkxor4OQXi2lkRBJiJh06an6XWKbqe0YeBj?si=e6vxetLMLUasD_1o

I just love the subtle attention to detail, like Kim landing the Mesa Verde deal. In the pilot episode of Breaking Bad, Walter withdrew his life savings from Mesa Credit Union to give to Jesse to buy the RV. On the bank's sign in the parking lot, the word 'Mesa' was in green or verde in Spanish.

Saul/Jimmy is now annoying me. In this episode his brother tells Kim, talking about his theiving, etc. , "he can't help it." Kim on the other hand -- look at her with her hustle, not complaining, paying her dues. A grown up, mature, responsible adult. At the end of the day, Saul is Slippin' Jimmy. I hope Kim cuts him out of her life. And the sooner Jimmy gets out on his own the better. He's an entertaining character but Jimmy is wholly lacking in character. Being a nice guy doesn't cover up his major flaws. OK, rant over. lol Also, Happy New Year everyone!

I've been so excited for the Hector reveal!!! :D tbf you've seen Hector talking before, in the flashback where he killed Gus' 'friend' Max during the meeting with Don Eladio that was the cause of Gus' mission of vengeance against him, as well as another flashback where he partially drowns one of the twins in his beer ice bucket as a lesson about family while sat on a deckchair. But yeah the excitement of seeing that he's talking and walking and what that potentially means in terms of BCS plot is an exciting moment :D

lemmy

There is even a bell on the counter at the diner that looks exactly like the one he will eventually use

Tim Martin

I saw a funny comment on youtube where they said that after watching Better call saul, Walter White feels like an insane side character that just comes in and messes everything up lol

James Waters

It is in fact the exact same bell sound as the bell Hector ends up using as well.

SuddenImpulse

How fitting it is that the scene which first introduces Hector to this world literally starts with a bell ring. Also, you guys have come such a long way as reactors from the early days of Breaking Bad. I couldn't agree more with what you said in the beginning about Walt. The events happening in BB have been set in motion years before Walt was in the picture. He was simply a catalyst.
