I had many favorites, but the ones I liked the best were ones I would not normally watch. Haunting of Hill House and Squid Game 1. Near and dear to my heart were Band of Brothers and The Pacific. Very emotional. I love Stranger Things and did love Peaky Blinders up until season 5, even though I would still give season 5 an 8/10. So not awful. Your reactions to all of these for me helped them be better. I had seen Stranger Things before but none of the others.

For movies I'd want Blade runner 2049, the nice guys, Everything everywhere all at once, the planet of the apes new movies, and Goodfellas With my longshots being some Alfred Hitchcock like Rear window or Rope. Or classics like 12 angry men and who's afraid of Virginia woolf

2025-01-01 13:31:30 +0000 UTCIf you want to try something less mainstream (e.g., sci-fi/thriller and/or foreign film crime thriller), then I’d highly recommend “Frequency” (2000) & “The Secret in Their Eyes” (2009). Both are excellent! I would love to see your reactions to classics from the legendary Charlie Chaplin - but maybe “The Artist” (2011) would pique your interest before delving into silent classic films.

Sad to see MoTA isn’t in your upcoming lineup but hopefully you’ll complete the trilogy. Still highly recommend watching Ken Burns’ docuseries “The War” after finishing “The Pacific.” I just saw The Shawn Ryan Show and his recent guest was Kris “Tanto” Paronto - former Army Ranger & CIA security contractor who was part of that infamous Benghazi attack that happened between 9/11/2012 - 09/12/2012. You guys should definitely checkout the movie “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” - the actor who plays Robert Leckie in “The Pacific” portrays another real-life hero Tyrone S. “Rone” Woods. Also “Taking Chance” starring Kevin Bacon is a must-see! The honor and respect and poignant nature of the film will stay with you forever. Happy New Year ✨🤍

Can't wait for ST5, SG3 and would love for you guys to react to The Karate Kid movies and then Cobra Kai, which ends in February, with the newest movie in the series releasing May 30th. Also The Prestige and Arrival definitely broke you guys thinking about them. For TV series I’d have to say either Breaking Bad final season and Stranger Things!
