We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

"SPOILER ALERT"!! When announced Skipper "Ack-Ack" was shot by sniper .. I think of Emerson poem.. "Oh Captain, My Captain.."

Anytime I think of PTSD I remember something Winters wrote in his book. The war never leaves you, it becomes a part of your soul. It's forever imbedded in your instincts. He said one time years after the war was over and he was home just going for a daily walk in his neighborhood.. There was a kid running along the fence on the other side of the road, he grabbed a stick or something and dragged it across the fence and it sounded like a machine gun... He said the next thing he knew he was face down in a ditch.. He just dove into it out of instinct to take cover. He said you can never get that instinct out of you once you live with it for so many years it just becomes a part of you. I can't even imagine how the Marines coped after the war. In my opinion it was way worse then the EU war. The Japanese were savages. Banzai charges, Sneaking into your sleeping areas at night trying to stab you in your sleep.. Massive tunnel networks.. On Peleliu there was hundreds of tunnel systems dug into the Hills.. Straight nightmare fuel.

A couple of the men portrayed in The Pacific are also featured in Ken Burns’ seven-part docuseries “The War.” It’s one of the best documentaries about WW2 - also has voice actors Tom Hanks, Eli Wallach, Josh Lucas, Samuel L. Jackson, Kevin Conway, Adam Arkin, etc. The production is outstanding. Based on your reaction to “We Stand Alone Together: The Men of Easy Company,” then you guys would definitely find “The War” both educational and interesting. There’s actual WW2 footage and interviews with both veterans and U.S. civilians who lived during The War. Powerful & poignant - highly recommend it. If you guys consider reacting to it, there would be a lot of people interested in watching because of its historical significance and production value.
