I've been going to my parents house at least once a week and showing this show to my mom at she said the same thing as Pudgey after this episode: "We have to watch one more, I need to know for sure." I have a lot of thoughts about this episode, I'll save most for the next reaction, but the animation went absolutely insane. Warwick is one of the original champions of League of Legends, and his proper introduction this episode did not disappoint those fans of the character. Warwick's character went through a rewrite around the time they released Jinx and started working on this show. Most of it describes a deep-set hatred for Singed as the only person he remembers from the experimentation, but there was a piece of it that I found really interesting after Vander died last season. It doesn't contain spoilers, but it does contain how some people had come to the same conclusion that you guys did about Warwick's true nature. "Yet, even as [Warwick] surrendered to the beast, glimpses of his past began to haunt him. He saw a bearded man reflected in the eyes of a beggar as he tore out his throat. The other man looked somber, somehow familiar; there were scars on his arms. Sometimes, as he fed in dark alleys on stray gangers, the flash of knives would remind him of an old blade covered in blood. Blood passing from the blade to his hands. From his hands, to everything he touched. Sometimes, he remembered the girl again. And still there was blood."

2024-12-11 20:46:24 +0000 UTCGreat reaction! As other comments mentioned, Jinx can move so quickly because Singed saved her with shimmer in season 1 after her fight with Ekko. The animators usually show Jinx is using her shimmer activated abilities through the pink in her eyes

2024-12-11 15:40:10 +0000 UTCIt's always exciting, whether or not Pudgey will laugh her ass off during the intro 😋 I liked the symbolism when Ambessa couldn't get Caitlyn to strike just yet, and figured she needed to prod and poke / rekindle / fuel her fire a bit more, while she was poking the log in the fire. Yeah, Jinx is now experiencing what it is to protect someone, in fear of losing that someone. Just like when Vander dropped his gloves in ep1 and start protecting the girls, and just like Vi protecting her friends and sister, and most of all, just like Silco when he cared more for Jinx than even his ambition for Zaun. "Is there anything more undoing than a daughter". Warwick is indeed the name of the creature. I watched some other aussies react to Arcane (maybe Carlie and Ange) and they said it was really hard for them to pronounce Warwick, and instead opted for Warrick. So I'm glad you're not having that difficulty. The end of this episode was one of the more heartbreaking scenes of this season 🥺 and probably one of the biggest shocks/reveals. That's why I was really looking forward to your reaction to this one. Pudgey certainly was ready to cry her heart out, if it wasn't for Spartan being all excited next to her 😄 It's okay, we all react in our own way.

2024-12-11 13:39:57 +0000 UTCShe was modified with Shimmer during when Singed was saving her from death. This was after when she blew up the bomb at bridge after Ekko defeats her back in season 1. Singed is own his own side. I don't think he really cares about Zaun or Jinx. Singed is that one that created shimmer and is willing to do horrible experiments on living creatures including humans.

2024-12-11 10:40:15 +0000 UTCSO peak! i 100% resonate with you being confused with how you reacted to S1, i was the exact same in a similar vein with Breaking Bad many many years ago, thought it was awful and boring, but when revisiting it years later I had no idea why I didnt get into it and wtf was wrong with me to ditch the show. as Sebz has said below, Jinx is so fast due to Singed's experiments in S1 (if you remember when Silco took her to him after she fought with Ekko on the bridge), he pumped her the fuck up with shimmer. we got a glimpse of her power right at the end of S1 (it was only a small glimpse) when she blinks towards Caitlyn to disarm her and it leaves that little purple trail
