Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

We hope you enjoy the video!

SE7EN [1995] Uncut Movie Reaction

Comments

I would recommend checking out Fincher’s other movies: The Game, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Gone Girl.

Brendan Emarpee

Why is Se7en the most hardest film to syn-up?

Petteri Ahlberg

Read the comic and watched the movie. I appreciate both. BTW, they can't react to comics.

Scott Johnson

Yeah it hasn't been on a poll before.

SuddenImpulse

The comics are better. Snyder misunderstood the point of Watchmen, but that is nothing new for him.

SuddenImpulse

Hint it is not Tortuga's head on a tortoise.

Lyn Hurst

It seems most people would only take him for a crazy person and not be able to get to the messages he was sending even though scrawled on the victims or sites where they were found.

Lyn Hurst

Doe's actions versus Mills' actions regarding fighting despair and changing the world illustrate the "Trolley Problem" which illuminates our flexible mortality when it comes to different scenarios. Is passively allowing people to die better than actively killing them? Would you kill one to save four...or more? If Doe's actions did bring about a change in the world resulting in less murder, mayhem and apathy, then the death of seven people would be more than balanced by the potentially thousands of lives saved. However, he has no way of knowing that for sure. This is why a civilized society has to strongly condemn vigilantism. A similar moral conundrum is explored in the movie Watchmen, which would be a reaction I'd like to see.

Scott Johnson

Doe spoke with a different accent when addressing Mills as the photographer.

Scott Johnson

There is one more Fincher movie that I would definitely recommend to you guys to watch and that is The Game (1997). Amazing movie!

Dasypodidae

Such an amazing movie. Fun fact, David Fincher wanted Kevin Spacey's role to come as a huge surprise to everyone when it first came out, his name wasn't included anywhere in the promotional materials or the billing, but only as the first name near the ending credits. Also, Spartan you checked to see if that was Kevin as the reporter on the stairwell, I thought you would have re-listened to when his character phoned his apartment, to know whether you could recognise his voice.

Oslo

More Fincher films!!!

Demo

The movie is mainly filmed in L.A. but filmed to look like New York City in the movie.

Alex

This movie was great, but it leaves you not feeling great about the world

Rich Plumb

As the Joker said, "All it takes is one bad day."

Nathan Jasper, the Artist Formerly Known as Primary

Pudgey describing feeling sick throughout the movie is exactly how I felt the first time I watched it. The murders are utterly gruesome but the world — the city — is so dismal and grungy that it just left me feeling like I needed a shower. Fincher is such a master at immersing you in desperate, awful places that you end up feeling like you’re experiencing the movie, not just watching it. Thanks for the great reaction and I’m so glad you finally watched it!

I was thinking today, what if Spartan and Pudgey surprise us with something, that would be cool. I did not know what. Then I saw Se7en, and didn't remember it winning in any poll. Great executive decision. I haven't seen this movie for years. I remember it being disgusting, but couldn't remember how it ended. I seriously think I turned if off before the ending based on how gruesome the scenes were. John Doe trying to get his point across by being an avenging angel type was interesting but he was no angel. So sad Tracy had to get in the crossfire along with her baby. I was thinking about the books Morgan Freeman was talking about the killer may have read. Helter Skelter was mentioned which is about the Manson murders back in the late 60s. One of the people they murdered was Sharon Tate a beautiful blonde actress who was pregnant. That was gut wrenching. I read the book about 10 years later when I was a teenager. Very rough.

Lyn Hurst

Spartans reaction to the end had me laughing my ass off😂😂

Nick

Wow I didnt know its movie week what a surprise!

Danny

Executive decision!!! Let's go! Really excited for this one.

Farbod
