Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously

2024-10-26 23:20:45 +0000 UTCRecording for S6 started in Jan 2021 and Helen McRory (Aunt Pol) was battling with cancer at that time and couldn’t be apart of it and sadly passed away in April 2021 😢 Had Covid not happened she may have been a part of it as S6 was meant to start in 2020 😔 RIP to an absolute legend & a core pillar of this show🕊️❤️

2024-10-24 02:04:52 +0000 UTCAlso Tommy doesn’t actually smoke cigarettes, and in the beginning of the show the filters started to stick to his lips which is why now he moves the cigarette across the lips to keep it from sticking and pulling his skin off his lips.

2024-10-24 01:00:09 +0000 UTCSad Helen McCrory passed away before this season. She was only 52 - it was breast cancer. Apparently, she kept it a secret and continued to act as long as she could. I know Cillian Murphy said he was closer to her than anyone else in the cast. Speaking of the episode, I really liked it. I am concerned with how much weight Tommy is giving to the gypsy words Ruby spoke. It is a bit superstitious what they believe. I find it interesting that Tommy is the only one who embraces the gypsy side besides Polly did. Ada, Arthur and John did not. Michael also talked about his mother's obsession with the gypsy voices she was hearing after she got out of prison and he thought they were just superstitious. I really am not liking the rift that occurred between Michael and Tommy in season 5 and continues. I really hoped they would be allies..

Announcing the death on Twitter, husband Damian Lewis stated that she had died "peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family." She had kept her diagnosis private while receiving treatment and continuing to work. "Very, very few people" knew of her illness before her death as she did not want her illness to overshadow her professional and charitable work. She was filming for series 6 of Peaky Blinders at the time of her death. In her absence, the storyline had to be altered and certain parts were reshot.

2024-10-24 00:44:49 +0000 UTCAs far as I understand it, season 6 was a day away from shooting or a week or something like that, and then the covid lockdowns hit and during covid Helen McRory passed away from cancer, and she was very private about it and never told the cast or crew knew she was ill, so it was a huge shock. They had to rewrite the whole season in a short period of time to account for the fact there would be no Polly. But she has been and will continue to be missed, she was a top tier actress.
