Thriller Poll
Added 2024-10-16 22:21:05 +0000 UTCit has been brought to our attention that maybe...just MAYBE...The Green Mile did not belong on the thriller poll....xD
however it did win so it will be this weeks movie of choice. but in 2nd place was The Departed, technically the winner of the 'thriller' options, do you guys want to see us watch this next (after Jurassic Park 3) to give a true thriller reaction for this round?
The movie genre polls/lists are fundamentally a guide to facilitate more variety of movies, they aren't perfect and we get so many recommendations coming in that things get mixed up or misplaced sometimes. but we are always happy to hear your feedback and do what we can :)

2024-10-18 04:30:51 +0000 UTCIt would completely depend on the context. JP3 from what I remember doesn't really tie in JP2 to JW at all. It could be skipped at it wouldn't make a difference really. But take Terminator for example, it wouldn't make sense to skip 3 and go right into Salvation because 3 ties heavily into Salvation. If you skip T3 you might as well skip Salvation too. Not that it matters because my comment was mearly a suggestion.

That's being a bit dramatic, I think. I don't actually think they should skip JP3, since the people have voted for the whole series. But if you were to ask me if I would care if they'd skip JP3 and go straight to Jurassic World, then I would have to honestly answer that I wouldn't mind that since JP3 is such a bad movie. I agree that skipping movies previously voted on would set a bad precedent. Don't drag me into this "selfish" nonsense.

A lot of people in the comments on the original poll said to just not watch JP in general, not to swap out JP3 for JW1 or something. Hank, if you vote for a movie series selection that has 2-4 movies, and you like all of them, and want them reacted to, should they just skip one of them after it won a poll because some other people are saying to skip it?
