Also, the reason Lieutenant Jones had the title but no experience was because as a college kid who went to the Military academy he automatically became an officer, basically he was the same as Winters and Nixon in Ep 1. The main difference is they had a whole year plus of training with the same soldiers, vs Jones who had a rushed boot camp and then immediately deployed to a warzone
