All the people saying this movie is only good for the opening have no concept of themes or storytelling and crave excitement over authenticity. Im so glad you both saw this movie for what it is and the message that comes with it. Spiderverse is also very good mind you, no knock on it, and it has its spiderman themes as well. But anyone discrediting this movie didn't pay enough attention. Its a great film.

Your moods going into it really reflected every theme they meant to portray and its 10x better than the casual spiderverse theme so I guess I've gotta eat my hat.
