Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)
Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)
Use Google chromes picture in picture mode to overlay your own copy of the show over our reaction in a smaller window size (Link to the extension here: ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en )
We hope you enjoy the video!
Love,
Spartan & Pudgey 💕
I hope they watch the others, really enjoyed watching it and Red Dragon is very good. I get this was the most famous but you've actually skipped ahead by accident as Manhunter was the original Movie 1986, Silence of the Lambs 1991, Hannibal 2001, Red Dragon 2002, Hannibal Rising 2007. Would love to see you guys watch the rest.

It's the third chronologically. Hannibal Rising, Red Dragon, The Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal

Seems Spider man would've been more up Sparton & Pudgeys alley based on the beginning of the review, Looks like they enjoyed it just not as much as the movie is talked up by people. its a classic in my opinion but i can see how new viewers could consider it over hyped.

Spartan was right, Buffalo Bill was Lector's patient for one session.
Also, Anthony Hopkins, who played Hanibal Lector, is one of the greatest actors of his generation. You would know him from the MCU films, because he played Odin, Thor's father.

Ah the classic 'stick to marvel' comment when someone doesn't consider a classic movie one of the best. I have to agree with the OG comment while it's a good film, I believe Anthony Hopkins relatively short performance is by far the most memorable thing about it.

Hannibal talking about hard nipples to Sen. Ruth Martin implying the nipple piercing on Bill and then at last saying "nice suit" knowing that Bill is going to skin her daughter to make a skin suit is pure evil.

You need to watch "Red Dragon".
It's a prequel to "The Silence of the Lamb" with my boys Edward Norton (Fight Club), Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort) and sir Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lector.

There are 5 “Hannibal” movies I believe and Silence of the Lambs is the second one chronology. The others are very different pretty good if you’re into it but they aren’t popular for reactions.
There is also a Hannibal tv series unrelated to this movie.

Indulge me here. I used to have this memorized and if a friend asked how they looked , I would say this. Always got a laugh. You have to really hiss those last couple words, just like Dr. Lector did: "You know what you look like to me, with your good bag and your cheap shoes? You look like a rube. A well-scrubbed, hustling rube, with a little taste. Good nutrition has given you some length of bone, but you’re not more than one generation from poor white trash. And oh, how quickly the boys found you. All those tedious, sticky fumblings in the back seats of cars, while you could only dream of getting out, getting anywhere, getting all the way to the F.B.I."

- There's also a series "Hannibal" after this movie. Don't recommend it but that's probably what Spartan was thinking of.
- "Let us know what you thought of the movie"
Well, even though I enjoyed your ending notes (and banter 😀), I don't think you've said what you thought of the movie either 😅 Did you like it? What would you rate it? Did it live up to your expectations? Were you expecting more horror? Were you glad it didn't contain that much horror? Was this right up Pudgey's alley? Etc. This all could be good information for us for future recommendations.
For example, if you both really loved it, I would recommend Seven, or The Bone Collector.

I watched this movie about 20 years ago. I have not looked up the moth pupa significance, but it did have to do with Buffalo Bill wanting to transform and being unable to. They did mention that his first victim he did weigh down, but later he got sloppy. It is a trait of serial killers to get more comfortable and therefore more sloppy. But if a detail is mentioned on the news that may lead to their capture, they will also stop doing something so they don't get caught. It can be a pattern, a calling card, or possibly DNA. I didn't remember Hannibal still being at large at the end of the movie. Coveting means wanting what someone else has or what you don't have. It is as if you aren't happy with what you have and want what someone else has. It can turn into an obsession whether it is about a person, someone else's success, their job, house, car, significant other. On a scary/disgusting note, they found household items such as lampshades made out of the victims the Nazis killed in some of their houses after the Holocaust.

This is the first time my recommendation on the discord won I’m so excited to see what you guys think! As someone else mentioned there are other Hannibal movies, I’m not sure how they compare other than Hannibal (2001) which is a sequel to this movie. Up to y’all if you want to try some of the others, but I’m excited to watch the reaction. Hannibal Lecter is such a character.

Anthony Hopkins also appears as Hannibal Lecter in the movies Hannibal (2001) and Red Dragon (2002). I belive Red Dragon takes place before Silence of the Lambs, and Hannibal takes place afterwords. There is also Hannibal Rising (2007) which apparently covers his childhood.

IMO, A mildy overrated movie.
It’s put in the conversation with the greatest movies ever. Very good just not one of my favorites. 8/10
