But I mean he's right,for example I love Ingmar Bergman, Tarkovsky movies which are the epitome of cinema and art but I'd definitely not recommend these movies for reactions because they're not the reaction type... It's like I'd recommend these movies to my friends to watch on their own but not for a movie night 😅 anyways to each their own. I wouldn't also call spider verse movies mediocre, after all the first movie won an Oscar... And these have different stories not the same repetitive one.

@Noah De'Armond You don't know what you are talking about. It is the multiverse, obviously there is going to be different variations of Spiderman. Peter Parker is the original OG but the multiverse allows for variations. Grow up.

I'd argue that Spider verse has a better reaction value than Silence of the Lambs, I don't know why sometimes I feel like people vote for the best movie, not the movie more entertaining to react to. I mean ofc Silence of the lambs is critically acclaimed( Anthony's performance was top notch)but I mean I really can't see myself enjoying watching a reaction to it 😅

Strongly agree with Hugo. The target audience and main demographic for Spiderman are young children and adolescents. It's simply facts, Google it. You can not compare Silence of the Lambs to Spiderman on ANY level.

@Lyons - thank you, I completely agree 💯. My friend Hugo has lost the plot 🤣. I would respect his opinion more if he's actually seen the movie but it's clear he hasn't. SV is so much more than a generic comic book movie. It's like saying Disney Pixar movies are just "kids movies". Either way, whatever wins, we are getting a great movie reaction next week!

Yes, millions of kiddies and thousands of man-children would agree with you. Saying SV has a "much better story", when the literal story of it is to have multiverses and multiple spidermen, a cliche from marvel that has been repeated ten fold but in a different color, is a clueless take. Consider thinking about how similar all the marvel plots are in essence, anything they produce is a copy of one recipe. And imagine putting one of Anthony Hopkins’ best performances alongside with any of Marvels productions, the disrespect.

It's a win either way, but Spider-Verse has a much better story. It's an EPIC high stakes saga, with amazing characters and fantastic writing. It will have S&P cheering, crying, laughing, and surprised. You won't get that range of emotion from Silence of the Lambs.
