It has been a disaster of an adaptation from episode 1. They didn't bother to follow anything at all in the book.

2024-08-11 19:00:57 +0000 UTCVery glad you guys liked this one, I was really surprised at the negative reviews for this episode because it might be my favorite this season. So much lore ,information, and amazing scenes were crammed into this episode, and the performances were incredible. The scene with Alyn and Corlys was so incredibly well written and well executed by both actors, I cried with you Pudgey 💔. Seeing Dany made me so happy and emotional I don't care if they're backtracking because those last 2 seasons don't exist for me anywayssss. I definitely think the season was too short but I don't think it was necessarily superrr slow, I think one of the big downfalls of GOT was not taking enough time to set up the story, I'm a strong believer that the backstory of those great battles and epic action scenes is what makes them epic. For example The Battle of the Bastards was as legendary and captivating that was majorly because of how much we had spent with Jon and Sansa and how invested we were in their story and them as characters. I'm glad for this season because of that, it will make the next one soooo much better !

2024-08-07 11:32:00 +0000 UTCI'm one of the people that found this season so dull. I feel like the whole season was someone from one side sneaking out in the other's castle. The pirates with Lannister was a refreshing moment that reminded me of the humor that Game of Throne had. Helaena is an intriguing character. I really wish for more dynamic, rich and witty dialogues. When every scene is sad and depressing, you don't get to feel the actual sad and depressing moments.
