The philosophical level which has been deftly woven through the story and challenges our ideas about some of life's monumental questions and how we view this story, these characters thru that lens. And finally, while it has been woven through the story since episode one, in this episode we are more obviously confronted with the third level...the world beneath the world. Since I don't want to risk any spoilage or influence, I won't say more. Many people enjoy TD on the surface level alone. Or just the first two levels... But if you want to go deeper, it is ever so rewarding. 😇

Everything about this season is perfect. So many layers to the story. It is confusing, but that reflects what Rust and Marty know. They're confused, too, trying to unravel something that just doesn't make sense.

2024-07-29 02:06:25 +0000 UTCI was confused by who was Starlight, and thought I may have missed something. Other show I don't watch ok. Kind of annoying. Anyway, Rust and Marty have really gone off the grid in this case. The whole thing is creepy, but then you think either Rust or Marty could be hiding something. The past few episodes I thought Rust was actually culpable of something that has to do with the murders, but Marty could also be guilty. I mean he shot LeDeoux before he could be questioned.

Ominous and tense from start to finish and the way they could pull this off always blows my mind. So much in a 1 hour tv episode, from writing to acting, directing, music and cinematography. And now the plot thickens!!
