I really want to know who their mother is. As far as I know ( its been a long time ) their kids are only able to ride dragons because their mother ( Princess Rhaenys ) was a dragon rider. Corlys is salt and sea, so their mom had to be Valyrian because they were not dragonlords. It might be just the fact that Seasmoke's former rider was Adam's half brother, idk.

2024-07-23 23:41:22 +0000 UTCThe dragon that has not been seen yet but was hinted at in the scene with Rhaena was in the Vale with the Arryn's not in Riverrun or with the Tully's. I feel like you guys are getting bogged down with the names you've been given in recent episodes i.e Silverwing, Seasmoke and Vermithor, thus you keep mentioning them. It is an easy mistake to make I suppose as there are so many names and so many dragons. Those mentioned dragons are all around Dragonstone. The dragon in the Vale has not been named thus far in the show. It loves sheep though.

The fire and blood books aren't from a first person perspective like the Game of Thrones books are. On some accounts Mushroom was the only source they had so we didn't know how much of what he was was true or made up.

(That's like saying Littlefinger or Ramsay would've made great kings.) Both brothers are bad rulers in different ways. Maybe Otto can help compensate for Aemond's weaknesses: lack of subtlety and lack of respect for politics and image... things that are very important if you don't want those you rule to hate you and plot against you. Ruling through fear alone is risky and usually short-lived.

Adam of hull in the books had oh gasp silver hair. Laenor was supposed to be the father not Corlys. Mushrooms accounts were always supposed to be a joke.

2024-07-23 06:02:37 +0000 UTCSo I also found it a bit random with Rhaenyra and Mysaria, but I've been reflecting on it, and I remembered that in the books it is said that Rhaenyra, Daemon, Laena (and I think even maybe Leanor as well) were in a polygamous relationship of sorts. Like they had threesomes and slept together. So by the book Rhaenyra (and Daemon too if Leanor was indeed there) is bi because she was with Laena and Daemon before Laena died. So I think this might be the shows way of exploring that side of Rhaenyra by way of Mysaria, instead of Laena. Also wanted to say that I think this is Rhaenyra starting to find her footing as a Queen and ruler. She's slowly starting to take on and embrace the aspects of a King. It's like she's exploring the aspects of how she wanted to be a man (like when she was talking about Daemon was everything she wished to be, carefree dangerous, a man etc) She slapped her advisor, and reminded him that he needs to respect her (reminded him of his place) she's taking on the sword, she's kissing a woman (as a man would) and when her Kingsguard alerts her that Seasmoke has been spotted with a rider and asks if she would like him to summon her council, she chooses to take Syrax and go fly herself to meet him, as a brave King would. This episode to me was about Rhaenyra finding her footing and becoming more comfortable and confident in her role as Queen.

Firstly, he is technically Laenor's half brother, so it could be argued that he reminds seasmoke of his previous rider. Secondly, the velaryons and targaryens have intermarried MANY times since Aegon the Conqueror took the seven kingdoms. Even Corlys sons might have a little blood of the dragon in them.

2024-07-23 04:50:23 +0000 UTCI remember in season 1, that you guys questioned that Aemond stole Vhagar but I think at this point that you guy’s realize that you literally cannot in any aspect steal a dragon and he is objectively a better ruler than Aegon and he is exactly like every other rider of vhagar ..,Every one of Vhagar’s last riders possesses the same qualities but the fact of the matter is that Rhaenyra has literally no chance without Daemon in this war bc her her Dragon is weak like her and she needs him and has no chance without him and obviously Aemond isn’t an idiot which is why he named Otto hand .
