2024-07-22 17:55:06 +0000 UTCYou have to give Campbell the benefit of the doubt its only subtly hinted. You can't just draw from conclusion that he likes her that way just because of her looks. Its even explained that he feels like a father to her aswell. I wouldn't say its obvious at all.

2024-07-22 17:52:26 +0000 UTCArthur breaks me this episode too. On the outside he looks like a brute who can handle anything but deep down hes just a broken man. World War One broke a lot of people in different ways. Him searching for that father figure in his life and it gets shattered in front of him. I'm happy that Tommy came to him almost like the older brother himself and gave him purpose. Arthur isn't a flower but flawed characters are great in tv shows/movies very interesting people. Him and Tommy have experienced the same trauma but they deal with it in different ways. Tommy keeps it locked up whereas Arthur seems to be a lot more vocal with his emotions and lets loose.

I didn't think Cambell would go down that road, at least I didn't see signs of it in his actions with her. It never felt sexual.

2024-07-22 03:27:03 +0000 UTCI had the same feeling as Pudgey. I may have mentioned I didn't like the way Campbell held Grace's hand for a bit too long. This was my favorite episode so far. Those you saw me lines from Tommy and Grace were very telling. He tries so hard to show he has got it all together, but then continues to beat the man's head in long after he was already gone. Grace said she didn't know she had it in her when Tommy asked why she fired the gun. I was wondering if she was concerned Tommy might meet his demise. The love scene was done very well. It broke my heart how it seemed they both got rid of some demons by being together. Definitely Peak, Peaky. I kept hoping someone would come in when Arthur hung himself, thank God for frayed rope.
