A piece of trivia I've always thought was crazy is Matthew and Woody have been good friends since the late 90s. Woody was excited to get to work with Matthew on such a long project not realizing during the "McConaissance" McConaughey had become a "method" actor. He got so fed up with him that most of the tension on the show between the characters was very real. But now they're good buddies again.

2024-07-11 18:18:11 +0000 UTCSeason 1 is great, season 4 is fantastic as well imo. So if you guys enjoy it and want to hit a similar style again some time, don't rule out season 4 (also season 4 is really new, it only came out this year oppose to the first 3 that were 10ish years ago).

It's often annoying to watch reactors messing with the mics, wearing headsets, etc. I don't think I've ever seen any reaction channels using one mic for 2 people, (and I don't know anything about audio engineering), so whoever is in charge of your audio... very well done!

But for someone to have that perspective and still live his life almost like an ascetic monk (no comforts for himself) in a public service job to which he is totally dedicated... and his self-sacrifice isn't motivated by a promise of heavenly reward because he doesn't believe in that either -- is that a bad person?
