New Movie Poll Structure

Hey everyone,

So we've been looking at restructuring how we run our movie poll voting system to allow for more variety and rotation of genre on the channel in a way that will hopefully satisfy most community members.

After some thought and discussion, this is what we have designed and we want to hear your thoughts!

We would have polls based on a category of genre's that we break down (for simplicity) and most weeks rotate the polls based on each genre. So what this COULD roughly look like:

Week 1: Action/Adventure

Week 2: Comedy

Week 3: Thriller/Suspense

Week 4: Drama/War

Week 5: Animated/Anime

Occasionally: Movie Series (movie poll that consists of movies that are more than 1 in the series)

Here's some extra considerations:

Sometimes if the movie poll is really close we could run a certain genre 2 weeks in a row
We may have a 'Quarter Quell' type poll every 6th week or so where the 2nd place of the last 5 polls get to hash it out for a 2nd chance in a bonus round
Spartan & Pudgey will occasionally pick a movie they want to watch (that is also in demand by the community) or run a poll of their top picks (on random occasion)
Please don't stress if you think a particular movie doesn't fall under that particular genre in the poll; it is merely a strategy to ensure a wider variety and it is not meant to be 'perfect'
We have not included some genre's like exclusive 'horror' and 'rom com's' because we dont feel it fits our interests and brand, however there will likely be occasional exceptions that fall within the relevant categories
