Guys vote for your movie and respect others may have a different preference. way too much hating in the comments lately and taking away from the excitement and fun we want to have here. We understand you may feel passionate about your movie but the nature of this is such that the majority will win, it is the most fair system. eventually all these movies will have their day so just stay patient with us we're here for a good time and a long time (hopefully).
Usually with these polls we will chose the top 2-3 choices for a final round. if the top 2 choices are significantly higher than the 3rd option then in order not to skew the poll we will stick with only 2 choices. if it's quite balances we will do 3 (and sometimes 4 if that's required).
Note: We narrowed down the poll selection to those that were getting decent votes. the other options will make a return once we get through some of these and lower the competition

End it wil never win a poll like that because interstellar is more populair. If you present it as an option and the list gets smaller and smaller. Then make a new list wouldn't that be better??

2024-06-28 18:43:17 +0000 UTCPulp Fiction a very kitschy weird film with some famous scenes that some people love, some people hate. And some people just don't care for. Tarantino is very much an acquired taste especially with certain films of his. Also half the people watching reactions have likely never seen it as well given when it came out. I know some people in the discord have said they like Pulp Fiction but don't like pulp fiction reactions and most theyve watched they either didn't enjoy or the reactors didn't enjoy the movie. I haven't seen a reaction to it before personally but theres some potential reasons.

There are obviously a lot of patrons that really want to see Schindler’s list, and they are faithfully putting in their vote for that movie every week. That way we could also free up all of those voters to vote for movies that they both want and actually get to see. I think they have “served their time” by now, assuming it is the same part of the community that votes for that movie each week :) They might be a minority in each poll, but they are a large minority. The rest of the voters have probably gotten their pick several times over, just by randomly belonging to the majority. It could be an executive decision or something :) (My vote is for Pulp Fiction, just for transparency)

Like the classic crime films in the godfather trilogy and goodfellas, back to futures, karate kids. some of them proper classics need be in these imo. A lot so far have been more modern and post 2000’s in terms of the ones you’ve watched which I don’t mind at all but maybe for a bit just dive into some of the classics then switch between them for some variety.

The directors cut replaced ALL of the original epic music, and even uses music from other movies like Planet of the Apes. It makes no sense to me how you can take music from one movie and just slap it onto another movie and call it a "directors cut".

People who vote either of these are more likely to have the other as their next vote than someone voting for trending movies. Which is the downside of having too many classics on the list - the votes gets spread out and the trending movies win.

If the goal is simply to do the same movies in polls over and over again with the intent of watching them all eventually anyways, we could have done just a single poll and then based off percentages you reacted to those movies in order from most voted to least. Just my 2 cents.
