Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

I really want to thank you guys. I gave up on trying to sync a reaction to the movie or tv show being watched some time ago, because every channel I tried it with included the audio in their videos (I don't know if that is/was standard, or if I just got really unlucky with who I watched). So unless you were 100 % synced the audio wouldn't entirely match, and for me it became unwatchable. Because of this I've only watched videos where I didn't have to sync up my own copy (like your youtube edits) for quite a while now. I decided to give it a try again with one of your full reaction videos, and because you mute the audio from the show it makes it work from my end, even if I might be half a second unsynced or something like that. I'm really glad I can follow the rest of your "Stranger Things 4" journey through the full episode reactions!

Even though Brenner can be creepy, he is well meaning at times but a bit extreme in his approach in continuing to try and try over and over to get a result at El's expense. I do disagree with the comment that it was Suzie's fault that Billy died if she hadn't insisted Dustin sing the song with her. If Billy didn't die, then El or possibly Max too would have died. I don't see a scenario where he would have lived. We would have to remove the Mind Flayer from the equation, which was the star villain of season 3 along with minor villains Billy (until he made the sacrifice), Mayor Kline, and the terminator looking Soviet guy...

When I first watched this season, I thought the grandfather clock was Vecna's phylactery, because in D&D Vecna is a lich (I think).

2024-06-13 10:10:45 +0000 UTCFun fact about the plane crash scene: if that was solid ground they definitely would have died, but because there is so much snow cushioning their impact slowing them down, while they are also pulling up as much as possible, creates more of a slide on ice than a dive. It's very possible to survive that way but still a very rough landing.

So I suppose the answer is you are seeing the security footage because it is part of what’s being used to create the simulation

2024-06-13 05:48:26 +0000 UTCJust for some context regarding what Hop was talking about (I never learned about it in school so I doubt S&P would have either lol) but Agent Orange was a chemical used in the Vietnam war, I forget specifics but being exposed to it caused a lot of hardcore health problems such as deformities and genetic diseases. So they’ve tied Hopper’s backstory to real life history, it wasn’t just based on random made up lore for the show

Also that lightbulb thats in the room where vecna does his thing has been there since forever i assume because no one has entered the house in the upside, it was totally closed. But despite vecna having done multiple killings at this point in the same exact spot, the lightbulb didnt explode until the kids were there watching. Like that literaly happened just for dramatic effect, either that or vecna somehow goes to the upside and replaces the bulb every time he kills just in case someone happens to be watching.

If I were her, and that clock was tormenting me, I would probably investigate, smash and burn the thing, just to rule things out. I don't know, but I don't have that much of a problem with accepting them surviving that plane crash to be honest. A small plane like that isn't going that fast, and they already cut the engines and were slowed down even more by the trees. Believe me, I've seen ppl "miraculously" survive things in movies far worse than this 😬 With all the ppl returning from their believed deaths, who does Pudgey think are really dead, if any? Barb? Benny? Bob? Billy?

Remember the prison scene in Chernobyl that I said was a real former KGB prison in the basement of the old KGB headquarters in Vilnius, Lithuania? The Soviet prison scenes in this show are also filmed in Vilnius, at an old prison just a few blocks away from the old KGB headquarters.

This season takes everything to another level, is shot better, raises the stakes, etc. But season 1 was so original and good it birthed 4 more seasons of the most successful netflix show of all time. So you have to give season 1 it's due, it's where it all started

2024-06-13 00:38:56 +0000 UTCSo in regards to Season 4 being so highly regarded by the fans, I think you will understand this point of view more and more as the season goes on. While there is no bad season of ST I do think by season 3 the show was starting to show its age, and suffering from the usual things a show suffers from after airing multiple seasons, for example in season 3 some of the characters had become a bit too cartoonish. Most notably Steve who in Season 3 was approaching sitcom levels of Stupid. S3 Steve came close to season 1 Joey from Friends in terms of his intelligence. Steve struggled to get into college but he was by no means an idiot. Also Hopper a was also cartoonish in S3 his reaction to Joyce standing him up, and Mike and Eleven spending all their time together played him a bit crazy but comically crazy again like a sitcom character. By season 4 they course corrected and things were bit more serious, Steve is more like season 2 Steve and less of a fool, and more competent, and Hopper is also a vast improvement on season 3. But these are small complaints the fact is after 3 seasons the show was just getting talked about less and less, then season 4 came along leaning a lot more into the Horner genre, a feeling the stakes we’re raised, characters acting more seriously like they should, a bigger budget and so season 4 reached its season 1 hype level and probably exceeded it even.

How chill has Lucas become over the years? In season 1 he was the serious stoic one and now he's all lovely and relaxed. Really looking forward to revisit that storyline with Eleven and Brenner. I share your sentiment about the intimacy, and as good as season 4 is, that's one of the reason I think season 1 is always gonna be first for me, less spectacular but more grounded and intimate.

Poor Eddie, been on the run since episode 1, i really feel sorry for him. And seeing Hop's speach, seeing him somehow loosing hope, so sad. Iuri is a discusting character yet so entretaining, i find him funny and Murray did go from hero to zero, still love him tho. Loved the reaction and don't worrie guys, the awnsers will come.
