Mike is honestly a pretty crappy friend at this point, if you ask me. What I find most unsettling about Jason and his cohorts is that people have held similar beliefs IRL. Look up Damien Echols and the West Memphis Three case (I can recommend checking out the docu-series ”Paradise Lost” on your own time, it adds a whole new element to this season). I can also recommend turning on the subtitles for this season. Someone had a lot of fun describing the sound effects (never knew ”squelching” was a word, but onomatopoetically it works). Great job Pudgey immediately recognizing Tom Wlaschiha (Enzo/Jaqen). That man impresses me; he’s not only a great actor, he’s good looking, and a freaking polyglot. Also I love having an actor from GoT on the show. Just as with having Sean Astin from LotR, you know the boys in the party would be a huge fan of the series. Btw, did you notice in the previous ep that El keeps her bedroom door open three inches? I love that so much, it’s such a subtle way to show how much she misses her father.

It's a common trope on the internet, that when someone is dead and we know they'll be back, people all act like "omg I still miss him" and etc to be pests and make y'all think there's no way they'd be back. And we do the same when they really don't come back. So I think ppl were just trolling you lol

You guys balling your eyes out just like the rest of us when Hop died is what we wanted rather than you sitting there denying it. Its much more entertaining to see you show emotion than just assume its a fake death. Also Pudgey we know you got it right well done but Spartan is so right its a dumb way for him to survive and escaping into the upside down would have made alot more sense than just giving Hop invincible plot armour.

2024-06-10 19:16:55 +0000 UTCIt’s a fun coincidence that two shows you’re currently watching, Stranger Things and Chernobyl were both partly filmed in Lithuania. I’m not spoiling all the locations but the “russian prison” where Hop is held, was an actual prison in Vilnius, Lithuania. Nowadays, it’s a popular concert and event venue. In Chernobyl series, most locations depicting Pripyat suburbs were also filmed in Vilnius.

On the other hand, I do agree with Pudgey’s point, I think Lucas has had a lot of growth. and final note: Angela got what she deserved (not death or anything, but a punch to the face would suffice. This was close enough 😅) I mean, mocking someone’s “deceased” dad is wild

2024-06-10 04:02:14 +0000 UTCwait, if I’m not mistaken, Hopper DID go through the gate, right? Hence why he appeared at the feet of Russian guards, in Russia, in no time? That’s always how I interpreted it anyway. From my understanding, the Russians had a man-made gate, which was also connected to Russia directly (probably) IMO it would explain how so many Russian’s were roaming in and around Hawkins undetected. Hopper jumped through the gate, maybe traveled around the UD for a bit, jumped through another portal thinking it’s his way out, and it actually led to Russia. Now that I’m typing it out, I’m not even sure how much sense it makes LMAO— but again this is what I thought this whole time. I actually have no clue now tho, I haven’t seen this episode in a minute.

HOW IN THE FRACK DID THOSE RUSSIANS GET DISINTEGRATED BUT HOP JUST HOPPED OVER A RAILING AND HES FINE???? Make it make sense The writers probably felt the viewership will go down if hop isnt there or something
