So I get what you’re saying about the scene with Billy being intense and the music was intense but he really only said stuff we already knew…. The reason it was so epic and so dramatic is because this is the first time that the mind flayer has been face to face with El since she closed the gate on him end of season 2. So the mindflayer is pissed off at really wanted to talk to her through Billy, and let her know that she has lost this time
