Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but you can actually call Murray's phone number and hear a recording of him talking. (618)625-8313....it would probably be an international call for you but it's not for the US viewers. It's freaking hilarious if you get a chance to hear it.

Majority of the rest of the episode was enjoyable, I just wish they would stop doing things like that. Its the main weakness of the show for me and there seems to be an increased amount of it each season. (I have not seen season 4 yet).

It turns out Billy is a really good swimmer encouraged by his mother and was probably shutdown by his father who wanted him to be a baseball player. But he was no good at it. So it makes perfect sense he got a job as a lifeguard and its also implied he teaches children how to swim. Maybe if his dad was more supportive he could have become an professional swimmer etc. His dad sees him as a failure. His dad is probably one of the worst characters in the show and also one of the most relatable for lots of people.

I think it's totally normal that he's worried about her, I'd be worried too, especially after she bled so much. I find Max's reaction a bit too much, she comes off as unlikable in those scenes. I love that 80s/90s cop show music we hear everytime Joyce and Hopper are pretending to be partners. Not a fan of Hopper losing his temper, shouting and beating people up all the time however, that's one criticism I have about season 3, Hopper sometimes comes off as a caricature of himself, it's especially obvious after recently rewatching the first season with Spartan and Pudgey, where even though he was fierce, he was much calmer and had that depth.

2024-05-20 12:03:02 +0000 UTCI see no one talking about this but I hve to mention I really feel nostalgic them including the carneval ride in this show (the one where Russian Terminator and Mayor were in). Even back in my home-country (Nordics) it was a thing when I was really young and as kids we would try to do crazy things like place ourselves upside down (no pun intended) or sideways. The ride basically moves so fast it creates a force where you get glued to the wall. It was so much fun and I’m sad I don’t see it anywhere anymore.

Poor Steve got beat up again and this time there was no running from it. Also Erica and Dustin another super cool duo. Dustin talking about My little pony was too cute. Dacre- Billy is such an amazing actor the moment of him walking scaring El was done so well, the tear that falls from his eye is somewhat telling is that is Billy trying to fight the Mind Flayer but it is taking over him, its so heartbreaking to watch. The dream sequence of El was done so well, the cinematography was excellent. The next two are soo good. Its always fun watching these reactions with the two of you cant wait!

The Mind Flayer was out to destroy El since she is its biggest threat, but them building something for her is a bit ominous and a new take on it - such as when the monster El encountered in the sensory dep tank was sent to the upside down, it was in effect banished until the gate opened back up. I am picturing them creating a place where she can be isolated/banished.

I think her hearing it from Billy who has the Mind Flayer controlling him was hitting it home. The scene at the beach was gorgeous. So sad how Billy's dad was and that the mom had to go away completely to get away from him. As Max said, she did not make El use her powers to spy. I remember she asked El what was she thinking and El said she had a way to see what was going on.

2024-05-20 00:41:59 +0000 UTCFirst of all, the way EVERYONE thought that Hop was wrong and that the Russian guy was going to escape 😂 he really needed that win and we all owe him an apology for doubting him at that moment. Billy's story is so sad, his whole attitude comes from trauma, his father's abuse and the fact that his mother abandoned him... it breaks my heart. It makes me see that people often act a certain way because they don't know better, they've never had better and sometimes they just need an opportunity and a little love. Steve will always be the best babysitter, he always takes one for the team and that moment he had with Robin was so beautiful. He def has the best character development. Each episode we learn more and more about Eleven's powers and it's awesome learn and explore them with her. Erika and Dustin make a great duo and she is a NERD. It's been a pleasure, I can't wait to see the next 2 last episodes, get ready!!!! ❤️❤️
