Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

oh wow! thats pretty interesting. i think a lot of bits in these movies are inspired from real events then retold uniquely to POTC

Ponce de Leon was a Spanish explorer who was attempting to get to Bimini to find the rumored Fountain of Youth in the early 1500s. He ended up on Florida instead of Bimini. It seems the Spanish explorers kept going West instead of East. Columbus came to what is now the US and they thought he discovered it. That is why our indigenous people were called Indians because he thought he was in India.

2024-04-14 22:16:09 +0000 UTCI decided to give this one a go as I do not think I saw it when it came out.. Although I missed Will and Elizabeth, Depp kept the humor, schemes, and antics at the same level as the previous movies. The mermaids were creepy to say the least. The swashbuckling was on par or better than previous films. I thought it was entertaining but a bit too long. Still fun movie, and I get why people like the first three movies based on Will and Elizabeth too, but Johnny and supporting cast do a great job here. Although Penelope Cruz is a great actor (Angelica) and a beautiful woman, I do not feel she added much to this movie.

2024-04-12 05:58:34 +0000 UTCPort Royal is where Governor Swann lived and the first movie’s events began. Tortuga has appeared in I think all 3 of the original movies? It was the second location shown in the original, where Jack & Will go to muster a crew and wake up Gibbs with buckets of water. In the second movie it’s where they go to grab a crew and Norrington starts a pub brawl. You pretty much nailed it though, it’s a fun new jack sparrow movie and it scratches that itch even if it’s not as memorable as the original three.
