2024-05-02 00:24:10 +0000 UTCFor me personally I’d say best to worst is season 4, season 3, season 1 and then 2 but no season in my opinion is a bad season or a weaker season they are all great so I’m not sure why people have been saying the later ones are weaker, I thought people loved the later seasons 🤷♀️

2024-04-07 01:48:07 +0000 UTCI saw that take a few times, although I didn't know it was the consensus, but according to Spartan and Pudgey that seems to be the case. I think that each season gets more spectacular but when it comes to nuance, emotions, mystery and depth, just pure quality of writing, season 1 is above the rest for me, it's especially noticeable after a rewatch. But when I first discovered season 2, 3 and 4, I enjoyed them immensely. And it certainly didn't feel like a big drop in quality like say Games of Thrones.

Also makes me think of "The Neverending Story" and "Back to the Future". They are great journies you both would probably love, and get referenced in future seasons.

2024-04-04 21:46:40 +0000 UTCEven though season 2 and 3 may be seen as a bit weaker than season 1, they are still very good, and really enjoyable, especially during first watch, I don't think you'll see it as weaker, and as we know and love those characters which are the heart of the show, it's a joy to watch them interact and evolve. There is a lot to enjoy in season 2 (and 3).

I don't think people liked that narrative, especially because we got a hint of it in episode one and then it kinda disappears for awhile before being reintroduced. I don't know why people didn't like season 3, I thought it was great. 1 and 4 are the best though.

I think people just like to rank things and when you say this "season is my least favorite of the 4" it gives the impression to some that it means that season is bad when in reality it could mean that it is a 9.5 instead of a 10

I would’ve loved for them to watch all the movies from the 80’s. I don’t think they would stop to the series to catch up. Again. I LOVE stranger things. But I’m an 80’s baby.

As for Season 3, it’s a little less dark and more pop culture in style and tone. This may not be to everyone’s taste.

Tbf if I was a guy who spent a night w/ a girl and some kid gets caught with photos of her in stages of undress… from somewhere in the woods.. I’d break the camera too and shame him. Also if Nancy had said those things to Jonathan he’d take his introverted ass home alone too. They’re kids. A man would hold it for later but a teenage boy is going home to sulk.

The first time I watched seaon 3 I thought it was the weakest, but after rewatching the whole series over again as a whole, I liked season 3 way better than 2. And season 4 is a banger, like insane how good it is

I was thinking you guys should watch some of the movies that are referenced by Stranger Things. You’ve already done The Lord of The Rings not sure if you’ve seen the rest… for example a few: Alien & Aliens, Terminator 1&2, Ghostbusters 1&2, Weird Science, Halloween, and more that I won’t mention to avoid revealing plot points. They’d help you appreciate the subtleties woven into the show that 80’s/90’s kids remember and appreciate. Next- Pudgey I’m proud of you for sticking to your guns on Barb. It is perfectly reasonable for you to feel the way you do considering Barb is still a major plot point in each episode and we have a new character hired specifically to search for her. God forbid you have the same feeling about Barb that characters in the show actively playing out have. Anyone who doesn’t see that can’t accept other peoples perspectives and isn’t worth the time. When the show aired there was an entire movement of people still up in arms about Barb that trended online. The online fan base was split on this so it’s ridiculous to pretend to be surprised pikachu face like “derp this Pudgey perspective is the only one of its kind and I can’t believe someone thinks this way” Don’t ever let people tell you that since they pay to support your channel then they can tell you how to think or feel. That’s not channel feedback. “I need more volume on your voices” “the overall format should be different” “you should explore different media”, these sort of things are channel feedback. To think me anyone who thinks buying into your community for a few bucks a month means they can tell you how to process and think is a literal mouth breather. Finally- if you recall during the season finale the Demogorgon opened that gate in the Hawkins high school hallway when it was drawn by the blood of the Hawkins Lab agents that Eleven killed in defense of the gang. When Eleven was pushed into the Upside Down upon psionic killing the Demogorgon, she walked out of the classroom and down the hall and found the gate it had created. The gate at Hawkins Lab is a different one. Just like the gates created in the woods by the Demogorgon when it came for Barb and Will.

2024-04-03 23:36:50 +0000 UTCSo I may be misremembering but I think the implication is after Eleven attacked that hunter in the woods with the burning log. - that hunter reported the issue to the police and that’s how Hop knew Eleven was back and hiding out in the woods. Hence why he started hiding food in the chest.

I think is funny how Pugdey doesn’t accept Barb’s death, I don’t see it as a problem. Spartan has a good amount of patience and I like the interaction between the two of you. You are always guessing some things and confusing another’s and for me that’s what’s makes this reactions so interesting ❤️

I feel for Nancy as no one is caring about Barb. Like you all said Dustin and Lucas are moving on, Nancy is still hurting, Will is still dealing with after effects, Mike and El both are having a hard time apart. I love how sweet Bob is with Joyce. He is understanding and empathetic even though he doesn't know exactly what she has been through. I like that Hop and El are together. So nice she came into his life and he into hers when they both had no other close family. Sweet when Jonathan tucked Nancy into bed. He is a gentleman.
