Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
- Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
- Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
- Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop

I love most 80s music especially the New Wave British rock and some other alternative types. The hairstyles are hysterical and fun. I remember people with hair poofed out to here and there and sprayed with lots of hairspray. You could not go into a women's bathroom at the time at a bar or club and not come out gagging from all the hairspray.

2024-03-28 22:57:27 +0000 UTCWow what an episode, those flashbacks about Hopper's daughter hit hard, especially as Will came back to life. Finally Will is back. Steve joining the other two at the end was one of the standout of this episode for me. The actors who play Nancy and Jonathan are a couple in real life too. Brenner is awful but his relationship with Eleven is a little complex which makes it all the more interesting. As you said, this show is the perfect formula, it has everything for everyone, and makes you fo through a palette of emotions. Amazing reaction guys, can't wait for season 2!

Cant remember if i specifically used those words together or not but I was tired of seeing kids on my screen here - from Harry Potter (which i still enjoyed on first watch) to the anime kids then this. Kids in real life aren't my thing so there's why lol! Then when you put it on a poll with other more dramatic grounded "adult" shows i'm going to plead my case for them! But i originally enjoyed stranger things alot especially season 4. Never thought i'd care to rewatch but from the 1st episode with you guys i knew it'd be awesome. Can't wait to continue the journey!

That was the 80s, I grew up in the 90s and 2000s and even then comparable cameras for those time periods were expensive af. for someone thats in high school.

Steve getting the camera for Jonathan was cool to see. I loved the way Steve used that bat like a pro on the monster. They never really explain why Hop is feeding El out in the woods. My only guess is he is hiding her from the lab creeps. Love Nancy's badass but sweet persona.

Remember that Will's heart also stopped. The only minor thing I can think of that was a little weird was the position of El in the hallway: one moment she was in Brenner's arms and the boys were being held by guards. Then the guards let them go to shoot. I presume Brenner did the same, but then the boys were able to just pick up El without either the guards or Brenner in the way? I also like the way they left the end open. You both pretty much summed it up: - No way Will came out of that unscathed. I mean, they could've but it's very believable that he didn't. - There should be a whole world of upside-down, so it's very believable that there's more out there.

They were originally experimenting on expanding the human mind to develop psychic powers to fight and spy on the Russians Elevens mum was given LSD and put into deprivation tanks to see if this had an effect and expanded her mind unfortunately she was pregnant when these experiments were taking place and this had an effect on her baby Eleven who has psychic powers as a result of all the experiments. And the huge amount of LSD ruined her mums mind leaving her in the state we see her in. Brenner then took Eleven when she was born and worked on Eleven to strengthen her powers to the point where she could project her mind acrosss huge distances to spy on the Russian government/military In Russia. However what they didn’t realise was how she projected her mind vast distances was by taking a sort of wormhole shortcut through an alternate dimension. Hence whenever she was spying on Russians she could hear the monster which she got scared of. However Brennen kept forcing her to go back and explore more, until the point she saw the monster and in her fear lost control of her powers and instead of creating just a psychic gate through which only her mind could travel she ripped open a physical gate to the upside down. (The one in the lab) And the demigorgon enters our world. Which is the emergency we see in episode 1 with the scientist trying to escape in the elevator. In the chaos Eleven escapes and that’s where we pick up from Because all this is given to you in fragments of flashbacks throughout season 1 it’s hard to fully keep track of on your first watch. It took me a second watch to pick up the full story.

I love Stranger Things, and watching reactors experience it for the first time is so fun. I’m so glad you’re enjoying it. It’s a really special show. I know there are mixed opinions on seasons 2 & 3, but I fully enjoy both. All of ST leans heavily into paying homage to classic 80’s movies, (particularly horror), and season 3 leans into the broad humor of the 80’s. I think it’s fun, but I know that’s what people take issue with. As long as you know that going in, you’ll be just fine. It still has all of the mystery, intrigue, and the characters we love. It’s a good time. Season 4, though….blew my mind. Blew all of our minds, really. EPIC. So excited to see you continue this journey and get your questions answered. ST does a very good job of giving you answers, but leaving you with enough questions to keep you coming back.

Being real not gonna lie , Y’all not accepting the death of characters when 99 percent they don’t come back is what ruined the Harry Potter reactions for me and also this community ruined it by keep bringing up the book, never seen a worse community in terms of trying to ruin a reactor’s experience.
