2024-02-28 00:44:39 +0000 UTCThe main thing that gets lost in translation, in my opinion, from book to screen is that we know Snow's thoughts in the book. I was able to read how he was always slightly sociopathic, and really only out to help himself. In the books he is very possessive of Lucy like he owns her more than any true feelings. And the end with Lucy and snake, the movie makes it out to be like she set a trap for him, but I read the book as it might have been a coincidence, but because of Snow's state of mind at the time, that is the theory he fabricates for his psychy to reason to get rid of her.
