Their connection to the capitol is very different compared to the poorer districts.

Deep, hart hitting character moments throughout the entire first half - then the game starts and it’s like a never ending action sequence. So, so good. And I can’t help it, something about Ceaser Flickerman (the show host) just cracks me up. I love the guy 💀

2024-02-06 11:36:09 +0000 UTCSpartan getting emotional at the Katniss/Prim moment was so wholesome. I feel the same. There is just something about those sibling scenes that hit hard. I saw all 4 of the Hunger Games movies at the midnight premieres. Back then, my brother and I would get to the theater right after we were let out of school and be the first in line to get into the theater. Good times. I’m so happy you guys are enjoying this series! It is one of the best.

Some pretty big name actors get added to the cast too but I’m not sure if y’all will recognize them with the Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Mad Eye Moody connection 😂. All jokes aside, great reaction as always!

It's hard to get every little detail on the first watch especially when you are reacting to stuff and also haven't had time to kind of absorb the world building for a year between films. Wonderful job tho. Again, I really hope you do the prequel as well. It's a great addition to this world.

The Games are about the Tributes competing for resources, including food. Tributes that win the Games get increased rations of resources and those districts become more favoured /well-fed than the others, while the less favoured districts must resort to tesserae to feed themselves.
